Heard of this place decided to stop in and try it out the general manager which happened to be behind the bar was real friendly greeting me and going over the menu ordered chips and salsa, a al pastor taco and two shrimp tacos which were really delicious and quality service was fast food was good everyone was friendly definatly recommend this show them some love did try it but they also have brunch breakfast and lunch menu plus tacos I'll be back to try some of the brunch stuff 5 out of 5

Amazing food and service. Value. A couple suggestions are the queso fundido is not fundido at all to eat. It was a clumpy block of cheese. The people want a creamy cheese with chorizo and poblano. Please. Also cool to order a flight, but the beers taste like the lines need cleaned. We will def be back for the food and the service but maybe skip the beer sadly. Worth a try for the food. The mixed drinks were awesome!

Really good margarita, carne asada and various tacos!! Spicy guacamole and street corn were my favorites!! My only complaint would be the salsa, and this may just be preference. The salsas didn't have much to them, very thin, just okay flavor.

I went with my book Club for brunch on a Sunday. The one waiter actually looked the book up so he could talk to us about it and made it a very welcoming experience. And the food and drinks were great!

Second visit: All around excellent food and experience! Our waiter, Jake (perhaps?), was great with timing and very polished, friendly, and professional.

Great brunch. Slow day. I’m really surprised more people don’t come here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for good brunch or dinner.

The Battleground has been and continues to be one of the best restaurants in Kent. The food is authentic and served in appropriate portions (I always go home with leftovers). The patio is perfect! Live music on some nights and enough spacing that you're not crowding your neighbor Definitely one of our favorite spots to go to!

Delicious tacos, good beer, good margarita on a lovely outdoor patio. Would recommend!

Unique Mexican food. Not your standard dishes but excellent and authentic dishes you won't see anywhere else. Lots of different margaritas but the house one is wonderful. Live music on the patio. We were lucky enough to see Jon Mosey. Fun and efficient server. We are about to become regulars

i have never done a review ever but with my experience last night i have to. i arrived before my party placed a drink order my party arrived shortly after. they placed their drinks. 15 minutes go buy no drinks the server then came to ask if were ready to order. we did got our food asked the server about our drinks its now been probably 30 minutes without drinks she said she would check in on them. ate all of our food still nothing so we canceled our drinks was probably 50 minutes with mot one beverage but the water they put on the table. the server was by herself not once did a manager come over to apologize , ask us why we didnt have drinks. she had to have her manager comp all drinks youd think he would of came over and asked why or even how service was.
as a restaurant owner everything i was dealt with last night was actually pathetic! do better

All of us were happy to see that about around still offers the same quality food since the new owners took it over. We all enjoyed a very enjoyable evening with a great server and great food.

I had been here before with a friend (and really liked it), but needed a reservation for a large party. They were easily able to accommodate us and still had great food and service. It was really loud yesterday, but the live music was very good, so I'll give it a pass. I don't realize we went on a music night. If you wanna have a conversation, I'd check their schedule first. Food is good. The mojito is the most refreshing I've ever had.

My favourite place for tacos in Kent, I bring all my friends here! The coconut battered shrimp tacos are the best. Service is also fantastic, Ryan is super informative and attentive. Always a good experience here 😊

The chips were cold/ broken and possibly stale. Red salsa was bland. I had the carnitas and it was dry and obviously reheated many times. Way too expensive for food quality.
