Not gonna lie, these restaurants with n/an options on their menu need to chill out. $10 for a virgin mule that was ginger beer and blackberry syrup is pushing it. It was filled to the top with ice so almost zero ingredients & it didn’t even contain the n/a spirits like some of the other drinks. Plus, my server kinda sucked. Wasn’t helpful at all with my drink request.

My daily special (chicken wonton taco) was : one piece of tough chicken in a crispy taco-ish shell x 3. The slaw was minimal-not nearly enough. My friend ordered the same and has same opinion. Disappointed as we drove an hour to meet in the middle from our respective homes. Chose River Merchant based on reviews. But the KICKER was the 19.00 old fashioned. It was a run of the mill cocktail (Buffalo Trace bourbon). I was FLOORED when the bill came. I’ve not paid that much for a drink in fancy hotels. WAY OVERPRICED. Warning to other would be cocktail orderers. Plus the food is meh.

Great overall experience. The ambiance was pleasant and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. Food quality was good and well presented, with flavorful dishes and decent portion sizes, however, some dishes could have been executed better (example sweet potato tater tots had less salt). Service was courteous and quick. Overall, a nice place to dine and I would definitely visit again.

Went here for dinner and everything was very yummy! Everything tastes homemade and made with love. We tried the mushroom bisque, Mediterranean lentil soup, shrimp burger, and forager flatbread. The rolls are amazing, warm and fresh. I would come again.

Absolutely awful experience. Came here tonight for my friend’s birthday and it completely ruined the night. We were told a 30 minute wait and ended up standing around for over an hour with zero updates or accountability. No apology. Nothing. Once we were finally seated it somehow got worse. Our server Cheryl H barely acknowledged us. She did not check on the table, did not ask if anyone needed anything, and did not offer a single refill the entire time. We were a party of 8 and clearly an automatic 20 percent gratuity was added, and it showed. The service was careless, lazy, and honestly rude. It felt like once she knew her tip was guaranteed, we no longer mattered. The food did not make up for it either. Way overpriced and not good enough to justify the wait or the attitude. I left feeling like I completely wasted my money and my time. This place does not deserve the hype or the business. I will absolutely be telling everyone I know to stay far away. Do not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you enjoy being ignored and disappointed.

I genuinely love going here and have never been disappointed by the service or food. Tonight we dined here and our server, Sarah, was wonderful. She was super friendly and attentive and we never had to wait long or ask for a single thing. I saw her doing the same with all of her other tables in her section. Wonderful experience tonight!

Service was amazing. Food was delicious. Drinks were on point. We can't wait to return. I will dream of the Wild Mushroom Bisque. My friend really enjoyed the Prime Rib Cheesesteak, she was so pleased! Additional parking available just past the brick house, look for the RM light up sign.

This is a great spot right on the river with a beautiful, inviting ambiance. We were immediately impressed by what looks like an amazing wine collection! We were seated quickly and received great service throughout our meal. For dinner, my partner enjoyed the blackened chicken orzo. I tried the short ribs, which were just okay for my taste—the Korean glaze made them a bit too sweet. However, we finished on a high note: the pistachio cake was absolutely delish! (I ate a bite before remembering to snap a photo, lol!) Overall, a charming place for a relaxing evening.
