Popular local pub on a small river in Kent. Was busy for a late lunch but no wait for a table. The small menu had good choices for salads, sandwiches and dinners with a drink menu that had a good variety also. We chose salads and they were well put together and large enough for our meal. The young lady that served us was pleasant and willing to help with the menu and answer questions about the local area. I'd like to return in warm weather to have lunch on their deck next...

I enjoy myself at River merchant. The atmosphere is amazing The food is excellent The waiters work extremely hard so be sure to tip them well lol it is a amazing restaurant

Vegetarian options: Sorry I don't know much about the vegetarian menu everything is excellent and I'm sure there are vegetarian meals that vegetarians wood enjoy

First time, but not the last time visiting this restaurant! We had a group of people with different tastes, and everyone was very happy with their order. The quality and freshness of the food made this meal as enjoyable as it was a good value for the cost.
