It is hard to beat this place when it comes to listening to live music. Some of the bands are really good and you can also get certain alcohol selections at a very reasonable price. The food is typical pub grub. If you go for the live music, try to arrive early enough to get a table or a good place to stand.
I have only been to Water street a handful of times and each time was not the best experience. Inside the building my phone never works.. while I’ve never had their food, drink prices are decent.. however they get 3 stars from me because the last time I was in there, I ordered a Long Island (my go to), but I don’t really drink soda anymore so if I can remember, I tend to ask the bartender to swap for something else and grenadine or something but before I could ask her to change...
Good "College Bar" as the bartender said a couple times. I'd agree, everyone was laid back. Great vibes and atmosphere.Miss the College St Library, screwy Louis, robin hood, "rathskeller" but nonetheless this place keeps those memories alive and kicking, you want a good place to checkout? Well water street tavern is a place to go..
