Zephyr has always been one of my favorite places to go for a few drinks and meet with friends. All the staff are super friendly and 99.999% of the patrons are too. It's always a good vibe and and a great time.

My husband and I went in for a few drinks and the bartender seemed anoide when I got a water and a beer, we were going to get more but it seemed like we were waisting his time so we just paid and left. We were there at 6:30pm on 9-26-25.

Best place to drink late in Kent! The staff is amazing and so great, even the grumpy guy with long hair and glasses. Play some pool, enjoy the great rotation of live music they always have, or see a drag show! A must go for anyone!

I can actually say that this is the very first time I have ever written a review about ANY establishment, and it will be a lengthy one. Words can’t even begin to describe how disappointed I was with the zephyr pub tonight… disappointed is an understatement. I am saddened, alarmed, and distraught about my experience this evening. As someone who has grown and lived their entire life in Kent, I would like to and am PROUD to say that I have known and experienced my life here, in the heart of Kent, Ohio. As a place that is supposedly “known” for “taking pride” in accepting all walks of life into their establishment, I can honestly say that I have never before felt so judged and discriminated against by any other group of employees. The patrons were all a joy and pleasure to be around, as for the staff, I sadly cannot say the same. The cliquey, high school feel was at an all-time high. Some things I cannot put into words, all I can say is that if you’re a fun-loving and free-spirited individual in your mid 30’s, you may not feel so welcome at this establishment past 10 pm. Again, I can’t express enough that the other patrons there were phenomenal and just a joy to be around, however, if I could leave the staff less than a one star review, I absolutely would. The person who owns this establishment should be ashamed in the atmosphere they have here (which I already have been told and know your name) and if you would like to know in further detail about how disappointed I was In the treatment by several of your staff members, I encourage you to contact me personally. Not to mention, When I spoke to a few employees from several of the surrounding businesses, they already knew EXACTLY what I was referring to when it came to complaints about your bar. Several times, I had asked the young man at the door taking IDs If I could have the name of one of your bartenders, he repeatedly and rudely kept replying with “NO” and “WHY”? Well now I have the question…WHY?

I'm putting 5 *s for food in lieu of a 5* rating for their brews. They have a frankly jaw-droppingly good lineup of craft beers. The prices are great and the patrons are very friendly
