Barry Bagels Kettering

Food is always great, but it’s never in stock! I will stand and wait in line for 10 sometimes 20 minutes just for them to tell me they have no chicken salad or no pasta salad.

I ordered carry out today and instead of informing me of no pasta salad they just gave me potato salad with no heads up. I could have chosen a different menu item of my choice as I don’t like their potato salad. It’s dry.

If you know certain items sell more quickly why wouldn’t you make extra batches considering you know it’s a high menu item for your store. This has happened to me on a handful of times, I’m done going and dealing with it. It’s a waste of time to stand there just to be told they’re out of food.

Ordered a breakfast bagel, bowl of DELICIOUS chicken tortilla soup, and a huge peanut butter cookie st the new Sugarcreek store. GREAT FOOD and the employees were genuinely nice!! I will be returning.

Im.from los angeles! I get so dissapointed at the food in Dayton but this place is spot of good.Reminds me of a great New York bagel chewy and tasty. Coffee is good as well. They close like at 3pm so go early. Excellent product!

Breakfast bagel was skimpy. For a bagel shop, I thought it would be substantial. There’s one skinny slice of ham on my bagel. The bagels are on the small side. The macaroni and cheese was basically mush. I don’t know if it’s always like that or not. Been there 3 times. Service is always great.

We placed an order on door dash for barrys bagels t1he night before, the store accepted and acknowledged.
Order was scheduled for arrival 7:40 am to 8:00 am.
I called the store and the young man knew my order and confirmed the items. He then told me that their status from door dash was no driver was assigned.
I contacted door dash and they blamed the store for not having the order ready.
I made it very clear that door dash cost a small local business revenue due to door dash and not barrys bagels.

It is the first time ordering from barrys bagels. I was so ticked off at door dash trying to push the issue back on the store.
I will figure out a way to order delivery again.

We ordered a catered "box" meal for a group of 15 or so folks. Even with a smaller dining room, they accommodated our group perfectly, and we had a lovely and delicious, fresh meal ready upon our arrival! Hint: do NOT skip the cookies. Share if you must.

Great food, nice employees, easy to see menu and bagel options. Only complaint is they close so early, I’ll be craving their food for dinner and can’t get it! That’s not a real complaint, I love their food enough to enjoy it earlier in the day! Would highly recommend. Good options for customization of sandwiches and generally accessible (the chips are low to the ground so might be hard to get for those who have issues bending down). Would highly recommended if you like baked goods or bagels!

If you're dining in, service is excellent. If you're door dashing, that's another story.... My past 3 orders have been barely toasted, and today not toasted at all. I wish as much care was put into what you are sending out, as to what you are serving in. So today my order was not toasted at all, wish I could post a pic... Plus both sandwiches were wrong. Wrong meats & cheeses. Again only dine in... The care just isn't there on delivery orders

I rarely leave reviews so here we go. I waited 10 minutes to order and not a single person behind the counter even acknowledged me or even cared to answer me when I asked what side we order on. I'm new to Barry Bagels and have never eaten here before. It's clear there is no training involved for the workers at this place. None. I just walked out because no one even cared. I hope the food is good and it appears the reviews show that but I'm never coming back to this place ever again or recommending it to anyone. Not to mention all the 2 people were doing behind the counter were printing off take out order tickets (in silence even amongst themselves) and carrying those out. What about physical human customers (which there were 3) all standing there in bewilderment wondering what's going on and when they'll be acknowledged to make an order. Dude in front of me walked out and then i walked out 10 minutes later. The gal in line also said that they were opening another location in wilmington pike and i laughed and said they better not unless they get training to their staff. this place is a joke
