Usually good , but this time my Big Cheese pizza was burnt. It was overcooked and the cheese was dark brown very burnt. I didn’t call or complain and ate it anyways but definitely not the way it should be.

My children and I ate here last night. The entire staff was very nice. The younger gentleman up front was so polite , came by to see if we needed boxes to leave etc . Manager was also very polite. As we were leaving my daughter looked through the window and saw one of the workers making pizza and when he saw her he smiled and waved and it made her night.

The call center don't answer phone then they don't put order in correctly and the app is so difficult to use when ordering extras. It's shame I have to go to the store personally and place a order then wait on it. Employees agree with me that the system has cut business.

We are regulars on delivery here. By far our favorite pizza joint! We ordered our typical x-large pep with extra salt last night and it was 10/10 “chef’s kiss”. We loved our pizza so much we just ordered another one for tonight. Needless to say, pizza is top tier. Cassano’s will forever be King ? ❤️

This is my favorite pizza joint in the Dayton area. I've been going to this location for many years. This location is the original Cassano's Pizza restaurant and it is marked by a Ohio historical marker. There is some indoor dining, and it's nothing fancy but it is charming in its own way. I always order takeout and the service has always been excellent at this location. It is a little pricier than the national chains like Dominos or Pizza Hut but the quality is far superior in my opinion. They do have a rewards club and I have received offers via email, so that can offset the prices somewhat too. They also have weekly specials and lunch specials too (although I've never ordered the lunch specials). The pizza is a round pizza cut into small squares. This is common here. It is thin-style with robust, flavorful sauce. The bottom is salty although you can opt for light salt or not salt. It is very crispy and the toppings are generous. The dough I think is part of the reason I like this pizza. It is crispy but not like a cracker. Thin crust is the way to go, in my humble opinion, although they do offer a hand tossed variation. The pizza is filling and flavorful and a delight to the senses. There are other touches that most chains don't use too. For example, there is a corrugated liner that collects some of the oil/grease that will inevitably arise when a pizza is baked. Most chain pizzas don't use liners anymore. Things like this may not be noticeable to some customers, but they're important to me. I'm sure they add to the expense but I think it's better than just throwing the pizza in a plain cardboard box. Some call this "Dayton style pizza". Defined that is normally a thin crispy crust pizza with no defined outer crust and edge to edge toppings. Some compare this to St Louis style pizza but I believe it is much better. I think if you live in the Dayton area, you should try this style pizza at least once. I really enjoy it although opinions are varied. I've ordered from this location many times and my order is promptly ready when I pick it up. Highly recommended!
