The Absolute best Italian Deli in Ohio. The most delicious Sandwiches and Salads ever. Along with Amazing entries, and delectable pastries and desserts. Ownership and staff that treat you like family make Disalvo's Deli a Kettering landmark and my favorite place to eat when I'm in town!! My highest recommendation!

We were visiting my son during U of Dayton Parents Weekend. I ordered 5 large subs ranging from hot chicken parm to cold turkey and roast beef subs. Everyone said it was worth the drive to DiSalvo's and they were right. The meat and vegetables were fresh and tasted great. The bread was amazing. We all agreed these were the best subs that we have had. The staff was very friendly, enthusiastic, and took a genuine interest in what are plans were for the weekend. We will be back again next time in town.

3 stars because of price 16.59 for a roast beef sandwich on a tasty hamburger bun , it was good for sure but 12 dollars at most. the buckeye chilli was damn good as well as the redskin potato salad , food rating 4.7 stars. Sandwich prices are too high though!!

The food is very good but I was taken back by their price for gluten free pasta . For those who have a gluten problem $5 is way too expensive on top of the regular price. I have never paid that anywhere . Unfortunately I will not return

Everything is great. The soups are excellent, especially the seafood chowder. Ronnie knows pastas. On Fridays, go for the fish special if they have it, or the egg plant parmigiana sandwich.

Best sauce ever. This place and the restaurant are authentic and absolute Italian gems.

The guy who waited on us was very impatient. He barely made eye contact and didn't seem interested in taking our order. Once we survived him, we found ourselves really enjoying the fresh cut deli sandwiches. The ham and turkey with cheddar was delicious. The dressing was just enough to add flavor without overwhelming it. The Mediterranean salad was also good and I'd get it again. The cookies were a good way to finish the tasty meal. We'll return.

DeSalvo and I go back to my college days. This place remembers your name. They know what you like. And I could go on and on about all the different food they can give you there, but I’ll save the space and just recommend that you check it out sometime. You won’t be disappointed. Some of my favorites: Anything Ronnie happens to be cooking in the smoker that day, any other pasta salads, the fresh made oatmeal raisin cookies, cannolis.
