“Shout out to former Sinclair culinary teacher! I'm pretty sure he said he use to teach at Sinclair but if I'm being honest as soon as he handed me the bag of food and the aroma hit my nostrils, it was over and I couldn't process another thought. I was too concerned with putting that food in my belly lol. The tenders were AMAZING, flavorful and juicy! Nice crunch on the chicken and packed with enough spices that you don't NEED sauce. I've been on a Thai sweet chili kick here recently but after tasting their signature sauce.....I have a new love! If you love honey mustard you should definitely try it......it's kinda like that but better. The fried green tomatoes where some of the best I have ever had.....I don't eat in my car but I will admit that 2 of them didn't make it out of the parking lot. I love that they serve waffle fries. It's a fry that doesn't get enough recognition. I will definitely be going back!!“

“The people that are running the place are so sweet and accomodating! The drinks were delicious! There are so many choices to choose from. The lady who took my order told me that if I didn’t like the drinks that I ordered she could remake something else I might would like instead as they are new and still trying to get the measurements right with the recipes but there was no need, they were so good! “5 Stars is not enough. Hubby and I stopped in for our first visit and he grew up Italian ~ homemade everything. Sub was filled with meats, mozzarella sticks were perfect and the pizza was awesome. The dough is fabulous, so much taste. Husband felt like he was back home. Cannoli was so tasty. We will definitely be back. Great food, priced fairly and the owners service exceeded our expectations! Thank you for a great meal!!!“

“hadn’t been here in awhile, but a Friend Asked Me to Meet Him Today for Lunch. Service was Spot On,Karugu was Very Attentive! Soup of the Day (Clam Chowder) was Delicious and came Out Hot and Fresh! Opted for a Grilled Cheese Sandwich which came with Chips and it was One of the Best I’ve Had (I’m a Grilled Cheese Snob too)! Don’t Sleep on this Local Eatery it’s YUMMY! Highly Recommend! 6Stars out of Five!“

“I'm not a huge bar person generally but I know Yellow Cab hosts a ton of events for charities I support and lots of more unique events. We went to give it a try for charity bingo last night and had a great time and even stayed for karaoke after. The bartenders were lovely, drinks were delicious and potent, the crowd was pleasant and welcoming. Just really good vibes all around. And we already love the Pizza Bandit. Yellow Cab is a gem and we will be back!!“

“First of all, their frozen custard is better than any ice cream I’ve ever had. They offer 5-6 flavors every day in addition to their other menu items. I always notice that the young people who work there are very polite and professional. They know how to speak with adults, and their manners are excellent. When a mistake was made with one of my orders, the management went out of their way to make the situation right. The owners work hard every day to make their business what it is. They are to be commended.“

“I couldn’t give a total 5 stars because anything extra is an additional charge. I mean anything! A side of ranch is extra a side of buffalo sauce extra and so on. I ordered a white wine sangria which was actually only a white wine with a slice of orange and a slice of lime. I asked the server if I could get a couple of cherries and a splash of pineapple juice to make it actually a sangria and they charged me a dollar for it!!..same thing when I ordered a second one. My 15.00 chicken sandwich platter after adding a few extras..( cheese,bacon and buffalo sauce ) ended up costing a whopping $23.00. I never knew everything or anything that does not come with your meal is extra until I received the bill. FYI ala carte is a killer here.“

“Finally, a place that knows how to make nachos! we had the Smoked Nachos. the smoked chicken was on par. There was actually a decent amount of nacho cheese and sour cream. DIDNT HAVE TO EAT ANY BARE CHIPS! We are from NE Ohio, and often are disappointed with nachos. way to go! The beer was good too! 🙃“

“Years ago I came here and was not a fan. Decided to give the place another go and it did not disappoint!! By far some of the best poutine I’ve ever had. Also a big fan of the southern comfort foxy fries (I actually dreamt about getting them again). Truly could not choose a favorite between the two. My boyfriend and I have gone twice this week it is so good. Also tried the pulled pork sandwich which the meat and bbq sauce were terrific, my only complaint is that it could’ve had a little more meat on it. We also had the wings which were well seasoned and the sauce on the side complimented them well. We already want to come back and try the smash burger and other items on this menu. Very excited to add Lock 27 into our restaurant rotation.

*update as we now come here once a week. The classic smash burger is out of this world, we have to order atleast one when we come. Also tried the blue cheese chicken sandwich (swapped BC for Swiss though) and it did not disappoint. The slaw was a little too wet but the chicken was crispy and not too thick. The poutine has been consistently amazing. This fall they had my personal favorite HVO blackberry bliss on tap and then rotated to a similar berry cider that might have turned into my *new* favorite drink. Also had a berry cocktail (name?) since my original review and it was good. They can’t serve liquor on sundays though.“
