There was an odor when walking into the restaurant. The food looked monotone. My tacos were served within 5 minutes of ordering which was very fast but the salmon was cold with unmelted cheese, and the salmon seemed like it came from a can. The beer selection was disappointing. The bartender was very friendly but talked about dirt on cans that was good to know but kind of made us second guess the decision to eat or drink anything there.

I want to preface this review by stating that I've been working as a server for years and am also a bartender, so I don't say any of this lightly. We went to dinner here earlier this week and were greeted by a super nice younger girl who stated that she was not going to be our server but she wanted to make sure somebody greeted us and she took our drink order. She explained the specials to us and suggested some favorites and brought our drinks to us promptly. We told her we weren't ready to order and she said that our server (who appeared to be the bartender, an older woman with black hair) would be over shortly to get our order. We waited about 10 minutes before the nice young girl came back and asked if our server had come over. We said no so she took our order and she apologized. Our server seemed to be busy hanging out at the bar laughing with other patrons. We got our food shortly after and the girl who served us and had actually taken care of us explained that she was actually leaving (assuming she had been cut awhile ago and we were shoved off on her through no fault of her own) but if we needed anything that the bartender/server would help us. I thanked her and gave her cash as she was the one who had actually served us. I did order one more drink and it took longer than necessary to get to me (we were pretty much done eating) and the bartender/server FINALLY greeted us and appeared to be intoxicated or under the influence in some way. I was incredibly put off by her behavior. It was not just unprofessional but rude to push us off on another server who was already cut to hang out with her friends. The other server working, the tall young man, helped us out more than the bartender did. We've been served by him before and he is fabulous and has great energy. He got us boxes and asked if we needed anything else. I've been in this industry for 10 years and my manager would REEM me if I behaved in such a way. I'm shocked at this behavior as we've never had an issue here. Everyone is super nice. The girl who did serve us is a real one and y'all better thank her and keep her around. Can't say as much for the woman who was supposed to serve us. I hope she isn't in a managerial position because that would be even worse.
