Love, love, love this little place! The owner is a king of hospitality and customer service! The food was top-notch! The Italian Wedding Soup (Frank gave us a sample) was amazing, although we only tried a taste. If we get back to the area, we will definitely return for more of Frank & Mimi's specialties. Two enthusiastic thumbs up x2 (from hubby and mi).
We come to Kirtland periodically but have never eaten at Down the Block. That will NEVER happen again! We will always take the opportunity to eat here. I love to order Calzone's, but I have never had one as good as this one! Most calzones are packed full of air but this one was packed full of meat and cheese. And the Italian sausage is home made and VERY flavorful. A Huge 5 stars!
We ordered 4 different things plus 3 different sides and they were all delicious! The customer service was amazing. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside and ate. I would highly recommend eating here.
