This is a cool little pub. The owner was extremely friendly. The service is excellent. The fish and chips come loaded with two thick pieces of cod and more fries than one can eat. The fries are crispy and golden brown. The batter is made from Guinness beer. The tarter sauce is homemade and excellent. They have a Lenten special of a Cod sandwich. I really like this pub with the wood floors and English decor.
Tried the pub for the first time. A bit quiet,but I did go just as they opened. Service was prompt, beer cold and the food was very good. I’ll be going back, the highest recommendation ?

Came in and was BLOWN AWAY by the fried cheese. The texture was about the same as mashed potatoes, fantastic! I also had the PB&J Burger. Hear me out now... I was a skeptic, but I thought, "Why not?" At first bite, I didn't know how to react. I can only describe it like a helicopter, on paper, it makes no sense, but it just works and works and it works well. That thing stood no chance. The fries were amazing, and I received a large serving (which was great later that night, too)....read full review
