Do not be deceived by the location!! The service was slow. Not a single member of staff we saw had a smile on their face and bordered on rude. The food was just (!) passable & not hot. Very disappointed as family chose this spot & we were looking forward to a nice meal. Not so. Would not recommend.

Just the worst! Stay away. So many other Great Places in Marblehead to go to. Don't waste your time or money.

This place has amazing food with nice portions for a very good price for the area. I ate here tonight after a day on the lake. Very lively place and had a great country singer tonight. I had the honey hot chicken pita tacos and they were the best tacos I’ve ever had. Hope they never take them off the menu. I would get them every time. Also a bucket of mich ultra which is 5 beers for $12. That’s amazing. Great place to eat.

We went to Cleats two days in a row for lunch. First day we ordered fisherman's platter which was excellent. Second day we ordered steak fajita pizza. It was awful! There wasn't any cheese in it and the crust was like a big crouton. Steak was baby morsels hardly on the pizza. Would definitely stay way fro ordering this again. So I rate it 3 bars. First lunch I would give a 5 star. Second lunch NO stars.

A obvious popular hang out this restaurant was full of patrons during the middle of a Sunday afternoon. a local NFL team was playing which clikd account for a full bar and dining area as it did clear out considerably after the game was over. There are several seating areas. The bar side is full of many high top tables as well as bar seating. TV's are plentiful in all locations. Outdoor seating is present and overlooks a beautiful marina. it was not open on my visit. Food choices are plentiful from ribs. pasta, seafood, and burgers. Everything was good and portions were the same. Service was on the slow side, but she was busy. Definitely worth a visit.

Been to this place several times. The daily specials can be good, particularly the Monday night Burger & a Brew . You get a sizeable, tasty double burger and a cold beer for like 7-8$. And the patio is great. But the service is uniformly TERRIBLE. Also had one miserable experience at Friday night "all the fish you can eat" special when the fish (hardly fresh & local, more like Gordon's fish sticks) came out frozen. Inedible. The waitress blamed me for not speaking up. We stopped going for about 6 months after that, but Burger & Brew night lured us back. We just adjust our expectations & expect crappy service.

Family of four visit -- we came with the in-laws. We did the ole order a bunch of items and everyone eat what they want. Here is what we ordered: Drinks: no sharing:) - Pina Colada. Good but really thick. Might need a spoon. Those awful paper straws won't cut it. - Mermaid Water (Captn + curaçao) These were really good. A little sweet, but smooth. This was my order and I would order again. - 2x beer on tap. Typical draft Miller lite. Cold in tall glasses. Appetizers: (they each have special menu names I can't remember) - Seafood Quesadilla - Beer cheese Pretzel personally, I only tried this appetizer. Everyone liked both. The beer cheese was amazing. We could have gotten bacon ranch and mustard dips also they serve with all three. We asked for all cheese to be brought, and glad we did. The pretzel was huge the size of a 12" diameter plate. It was soft and slightly crispy and subtly salty. Y Entrees: - lake monster pizza - Reuben and fries - perch sandwich and fries - 12 chicken wings (medium sauce with blue cheese I ordered the perch because I wasn't splitting the entrees like the rest of the group. Sadly, my dinner was the worst thing of all items on the table. My father in law raved about how he would be back for wing night. Everyone loved the pizza and the Reuben. My personal favorite of the night was actually the fries. Do not order the perch. It was pricey. And overcooked. This was the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. I was thankful the server recommended the sandwich over the meal. It cost less and I got less perch. I wasn't going to eat the bun anyway--but the sandwich was just bad bar food. So thin it was cooked to the point it was chewy. Our server was awesome. She came to the table often enough to be very helpful but not intrusive. She recommended great drinks. She didn't mind when we asked for non paper straws for some that didn't work well with them. The place was a bit noisy, but it's a bar/touristy type environment so that was to be expected. I would say it's more likely to be fun for a group outing or family gathering than a romantic dinner, unless you plan ahead and ask for outside seating. We will be back for sure. It's a cool place off the beaten path with good food.

Best fish tacos! Generous portion, fresh ingredients, white fish or upgrade to perch or walleye. The chips and salsa was pretty good. They had bacon ranch fries on special for an appetizer and they were really good too! My sons love their wings. Nice drink selection.

We order takeout from Cleats all the time and it's always good! Their takeout process is super easy and the food is always fresh and hot when we get it.

we went on Thursday evening for the rib special, as recommended by friends. the ribs were mediocre , at best. appeared to have been precooked and warmed up. barely warm. paid additional for a baked potato. Big mistake! Potatoes must have been in warmer for 6-8 hours, Barely edible. very disappointed.
