It ain’t fancy, yet you’ll rarely be disappointed with the atmosphere. Simple and basic breakfast lunch and dinner, plus some of the best pastries (donuts) on the south shore of Lake Erie. We’ve been seasonal patrons for about 10 years and always come away yearning for more.
I have been eating at The Patio Restaurant for longer than I can remember. The food has always been very good, along with the service. The donuts are terrific, and my favorite meals are the chicken and the meatloaf.
This restaurant was very nice, and well positioned. Their burger came with coleslaw and a lot of fries. In the morning, they have delicious hot donuts of 6 varieties. Having their donuts are a great, cheap way to start the day. They are very close to the Lakeside pier, so you can order takeout, then walk 2 minutes down to the pier and eat there.
