Would have loved to try this place, but it is for members only.

I understand from the reviews that many people walk away with a bad experience. That said, my friends and I had a great meal here. I got the perch platter, which, while expensive, was well worth it. We shared pretzel sticks that beat or compete with any I’ve had. The drinks were okay. The waitstaff was responsive and professional. I had a great time, and only afterward looked at the reviews: this restaurant deserves a better rating. My friends and I had a great experience here.

This is part of a private community so we drove out of our way to be told we can’t even eat there. Shouldn’t be listed on google maps as an option.

Oof. I love Bay Point but the Shores Club restaurant shouldn't even pretend to be open... They don't answer the phone. They aren't open during posted hours. Long waits and untrained service when they are open. It's such a shame because this would be a good (well, at least super convenient) location for a well-run restaurant.

It was a slow Sunday afternoon at the Shores Club today. We got right in without a wait and sat down where we waited about 13 minutes until a waitress came over. Ordered drinks and appetizers. Nearly a half hour later, the drinks came out (minus 2 of them they forgot). Then immediately after, the appetizers came out. We had to ask three times where our drinks were and we were told “they’re being made” when we can literally see the bartenders standing there doing nothing at all. The food finally came out a while later and the young man that brought us the food was the best worker we met today. Asking for dressings was like pulling teeth and finally after 4 times we got our dressing. Sadly, our group agreed that the membership cost to belong to Bay Point is just not worth it anymore. Better food for better prices elsewhere on the water. I would expect the service we received today from some dump in the ghetto not next to multi-million dollar homes on beautiful Lake Erie.

Terrible. Bar was understaffed and not trained for a busy night. I don't blame the staff, I blame management. we left and went to the tiki bar outside and it had 1 guy working for over 100 people. They can't get out of their own way.

We tried The Shores for the first time yesterday. While browsing the menu we thought “wow for a waterfront restaurant this is very decently priced!” Yet somehow for being inexpensive, it is still overpriced. I ordered a gyro. Worst gyro I’ve ever had. My husband had a rueben and it was decent. We decided to give them another shot while on the beach today. I ordered $10 tacos which came with 2 flour tortillas, ONE shrimp per taco (tail on), and a small amount of onion and lettuce. My husband ordered chicken tenders which were again decent, but how can you mess those up? The attention to detail is not there. We won’t be going back. This place has so much potential, sad to see it fail.

Standard restaurant. Nothing too crazy, it has great service! The food is good enough to get by, but nothing worth going out of the way for. The prices are great as well as the service! Support the local community!

Very overpriced. This restaurant does not manage the corona pandemic at all. They don’t clean the table the food is painfully average at a very high price. The menu had very little selection and not many good options. Everything was in plastic containers and the beer tasted like a year old. On the bright side the view of the water was nice and so was the service.

They were out of everything we ordered. How do you run out of ketchup? No sauce for polled pork and chicken. The list goes on.

Very friendly and the food was excellent
