Ordered a taco pizza. Picked it up and got back to the house and it looked great. Taco meat sour cream lettuce tomato’s cheese. Had black olives and onions removed. Started eating and found mushrooms on it. Doesn’t even come with mushrooms in the first place. Called to get it reordered got put on hold and eventually had to leave again and come back in cause no1 ever came back on the phone. The second pizza. All it came with was meat and lettuce on it and looked like they speed baked it thru the oven. That’ll be the last time we order from here.

So I will say my food was good but when ordering you have no options for condiments or a comment box to put them in (ketchup must mayo) so I figured oh they prolly just give you packets. They do not or they didnt give me mine which I think is what happend cause why would you give no options for condiments otherwise. Service was quick but the only thing enthusiast about it was when they were mentioning I can tip the cooks for a pickup order. Which I find ironic because I was not given my extra side of cheese with my pretzel bites I ordered. Lastly the do not honor your pick up time. In other words when you place your order it will say 25 to 30 minutes or whatever. This place id not busy will make that order right then and leave it under a heat lamp for 10 or 15 minutes before you arrive at your pickup time. This is just bad business just because i order carry out doesnt mean I don't want my food mad fresh off the grill upon my arrival. Over all unlikely to order to go from here again and prolly wouldnt be a first choice for dine in due to the experience with the service.

Service was awful and the place was disgustingly dirty. Made it through the door and they were well staffed. Waited for someone to come up to the server stand. Another potential customer on her way out the door shared it’d be an hour wait. Multiple tables open inside and out and they were not cleaned, bussed or touched in what looked to be quite sometime. Door was open to the kitchen and watching the people put food together seemed less than sanitary. Wouldn’t have passed a surprise audit if the health inspector walked in. After seeing what we saw no one ever came up to greet us or seat us thank goodness. Got out quick and looked for somewhere else for the family to eat.

I am writing this review as I am waiting for an order that was supposed to be ready at 6:54 it is now 7:59. They have told me 3 times it will be 20 minutes. Absolutely horrible service, go anywhere but here.
Side note, there is only 3 tables with people sat at them and they are not busy. Horrible service and I will never come back after this.

Avoid this place at all costs. Waited 2 hours for a carry out pizza and it still wasn’t ready. They were turning every customer away that came in the door. Place is a zoo.

The atmosphere is great and the food is great but service is not. We went around 9:30 and guy outside on a smoke break said “don’t go inside we are closing soon” we said can we not just go in for food or maybe even just drinks? And he said no just leave. Sounds like they don’t want people there to me. We went 2 nights before and loved the food so wanted to go back tonight but seems like they close down early. Guy said he was the manager and said just to leave because kitchen and bar were closing. .
Pizza was fantastic! Went around 530pm on a Saturday and was able to sit down right away! Which many attempts prior to on weekend days the wait for a table and or food was long, up to 2 hours! So unfortunately after several attempts this was the first time. Wait staff was good but not great, had to ask for refills and things for the table that we needed. Pizza, Meat Lovers was amazing! Large pizza had every space on it with meat! Had a medium Big Mack and that was surprisingly amazing as well! Wasn't expecting it to be that good but might be my new favorite We had 3 grown men at the table and had tons of food left over! Dough and bake on the pizza was great!

We both got the taco salad and it was very good, would suggest using shredded lettuce instead of leaf lettuce. Wings were delicious!

First time trying Buckeye At The Lake while staying at Indian Lake State Park, and it did not disappoint! The pizza was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had, and the wings, fries, and salad were just as amazing. 10/10 recommend! The food is fantastic, but the customer service is what really sets them apart. The staff truly care about their kitchen team and it shows. We’ll definitely be back every time we’re at the lake!
