Met a nice gentleman at a gas station he helped me load some items in my car he told me about this place to visit and I did. The ice cream was great ? and the lady was very nice to me and my grand children. I tecommend this place and will visit again.Kid-friendliness: Approach with the owner was great.

This place is just down the road and since our ribs weren't done smoking when we were hungry we decided to grab a pizza. 30ish minute wait, but the woman took our number and said she'd call when it was ready. She held to that and they brought it to the car when we pulled up. It looks like a dump and not even open, but my husband and I both agreed it was one of the best pizzas we've had in awhile. The woman taking our order was down to earth and willing to answer any questions we had. I'm not personally a fan of having to pay by the item on things so that threw me off a bit. There were literally no pizza "options" on the menu. You pay for each item you want. Even on subs. We ended up with an 18" bbq chicken pizza - she asked what kind of bbq sauce and ran through a list. We settled on the Kentucky bourbon bbq sauce with chicken, bacon, and pineapple on half ($28). The lady asked if we wanted garlic butter crust, so we went for it. Everything about the pizza was good! We enjoyed the crust which was dense and crispy, but it may not be for everyone. There was plenty of bbq sauce and loads of cheese.

The staff was very friendly & helpful when placing our order! The delivery gal was friendly as well & even brought milk bones for our pups! The garlic bread was 10/10 with a buffalo dipping sauce so yummy would definitely get again ?. We wanted to love the pizza ? but the crust was very hard & it wasn't tasty.

We decided to give some pizza places a try on this trip to Indian Lake State Park campgrounds. The Gettin' Place is minutes from the campground. Don't let the "shack on the side of the road" fool you. This is good stuff.They have 14 and 16 inch pies or squares (they'll ask you how you want it baked when you order, so, unlike me, you know how to answer now!). The crust is dense, thick-ish, and crispy. Definitely a unique consistency and flavor for us. Different but good, however, I could have it a bit less crispy on the bottom. Cheese seems to be a mix of mozzarella and cheddar which gives an excellent flavor. I don't you'd need extra cheese. We ordered it and it was a LOT. The sauce is slightly sweep and a little chunky. The only ding is the crust, sauce, and cheese flavor overpower the onions, mushrooms, and sausage we topped it with.The staff (all two of them) were friendly and very chill. The guy that took my order was patient and friendly. They have other food there, but pizza seems to be the thing. We ordered on a Saturday night about 5:45. It was a 45 minute wait for pick up. For delivery, which they seem to do all around the lake and into the state park campground, I over heard an hour and half wait. Granted that was Saturday night at 6:30, but be prepared for a bit of a wait during prime times. Highly recommend this for a unique spin on pizza in the Indian Lake region.
The staff are great friendly and awesome. However my kids hated it because the tomatoe chunks . We would have loved it if there was a different sauce ? It would be a great pizza if someone likes chunky sauce ?

The pizza is unreasonably good. The sauce has actual chunks of tomato, and they get the cheese toasted just like I like it. They don't have a lot of capacity so call ahead and expect to wait on your food.Dietary restrictions: They are more than happy to leave off dairy if asked.
