We had a wonderful experience there last night. The drinks are always the best ever and the staff is always courteous and helpful. I love that we had the opportunity to get a free shot before being seated which was a unique touch to the experience. Definitely will be come back again.

Went there on a Wednesday night for dinner with a friend. Was greeted and seated quickly. However, we then waited well over 25 minutes for anyone to come take our drink order. Other tables that came after us were being taken care of and we were ignored. Eventually a young man came and ask if our waitress came by and when we said no, he took our drink order but seemed annoyed. He asked us to order our food & once we got our food and the waiter came refilled the glass of water and disappeared for over and hour. Other tables came and left. Got boxes etc. Tired of waiting, I got up and grabbed my own box and stopped the young man and asked for our check. He seemed upset that I asked for my check. I will never return. The food was not very good. The tostones and guacamole were ok. The tostones were not fresh at all and they give you 3 and then give you tortilla chips as filler. Overall not a good experience. Not worth the money or the 3 hours of ok food.

Barraco has been one of my go to spots for a while. Their food is always on point and their mojitos are the best! You can get a single mojito or a pitcher if you’re going with friends. The service is always efficient and friendly. I have nothing bad to say about my dining experiences at Barraco Lakewood.
