Wanted to check out a restaurant we haven't tried yet, and I'm glad we chose C&S. Very impressed with the vegetarian/vegan options. We split a vegan Caesar salad, vegan meatball, and vegan lasagna. All were amazing. The meatballs were my favorite as they were seasoned very well. I think we'll try one of their pizzas next time!

One of the better restaurants around. Try the bacon wrapped stuffed dates. Out of this world along with the dipping bread (for the maranira sauce that comes with the dates) they make out of their pizza dough. Tried the pistachio pizza with Italian ham. Really really good. Obviously not something you will find everywhere. This restaurant uses alot of oregano on their pizzas. If you don't like oregano use ask them to leave it off. This was our second time coming here and we will be regulars. We don't live that close but our family does. We took the family there and they loved it. Make reservations, you will need them.

Great place! My wife and I went for Sunday dinner. I ordered the sloppy joe and my wife ordered the shrimp and grits. Both were really good. I appreciate that my sloppy joes came with Cole slaw /potato salad instead of fries. The only nit pick is that it is pretty dark inside. I wish they turn up the lighting a little or put candles at each table. Plenty of parking in the back.

I made a reservation for 7:30 but clearly didn't need one because the place was dead. Sat at the bar, my first impression was that it looked like someone had forgotten to turn the lights on over the bar. we ordered the wings which were probably best wings I had ever eaten. So we were off to a great start! The shrimp and grits came out, and thought that they had forgot to add the shrimp, as I dug around discovered that the few shrimp were on the bottom. The proportion of grits to shrimp was surprising. The egg on top blended in to the dish. Definitely needed some color, some chopped green onion or chives. My husband's steak swimming in grease. The cut of the steak was bit tough. But, was really disappointing was the wines we both ordered they were out off. The server told us that only one white wine was available which paired ok either grits. Husbands choice was a Pinot Nior. We were told it was because they were really busy the night before. Beverage manager needs to step it up.They women next to us seemed to be disappointed when told that their wine choices weren't available as well.

Checked out this place for the first time today and it was great! We had a 5:15 pm reservation and were able to take advantage of the happy hour that I didn't even know they had. We got cocktails for $10 and pizza for $10 which is an amazing deal!! The drinks were delicious and pretty and the pizza was fantastic. We also got the roasted nuts, bacon wrapped dates and chicken wings as appetizers, and the chicken salad - needless to say that we had two to go boxes :D The location is wonderful as it's so close to Lake Erie and you can enjoy dinner and sunset and also close to other cool neighborhoods of Cleveland so it's a great place to base yourself and then go to bars and walk around the city. It's also right next to Tapster which is a super fun bar! I absolutely wait to come back here for all these reasons.

Our server was nice and the food was great! Love all of the vegan options— it took a while for the two of us to get our food but otherwise all good. Love the color of the walls too!

I've been here 3 or 4 times. The atmosphere is dark and moody, so a nice place for a date, but casual enough for a quick evening out. Everything I've had on the menu, pizza, eggplant lasagna, and chicken Milanese, has been excellent. There service staff started to recognize us the last few times we were there which is a very homely feeling.

I've been to this place twice now and both times were very average. The first time was in their first week of opening and they were out of at least 50% of the things on the menu. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they had JUST opened. Went back this week and they were out of basically all of their white wine and rose. My pizza came out cold but tasted fine. Our server was nice and competent. I probably won't be back unless someone else in my group desperately wants to go here.

Update 02/2024:We revisited this location and were delighted with the experience. I think this new location just needed some time to settle in. Loved my Mortadella pie! ?2023 review:As a long time patron of their Bainbridge spot, I was very excited when I heard the announcement of the Lakewood location, since I moved to Lakewood two years ago.We ordered a couple rounds of drinks. They were good, but there is room for improvement. We ordered the strawberry salad, very delicious! And then we ordered my favorite pie, the Mortadella. It was good, but there's just something missing. The new place just seems to have something missing in the secret sauce. I do look forward to returning to see if they get things sorted out. Growing pains perhaps? ?‍♂️Lastly, I hope they continue to work on the decor. We felt the place was too dark and the minimalistic design was just too cold and uninviting.I truly wish them all the best. I so want this place to succeed. ?

The service was subpar. We had a reservation at 8:30 pm but were not seated till 9:10 pm. When we finally sat and wanted to order, we were told that they were out of 4 items out of the appetizers ( almost half of the options). We did not feel that the staff were welcoming or cared to show an apologetic attitude about the lack of the above accommodations. The food that was available was good (we ordered pizza, steak , burger), the cocktails were OK but not super.

Food and service were excellent. Tables were pretty close together, and it was pretty loud. Not a place for a romantic dinner, more of a hang out casual place. Really liked the beer and wine options too. Will go back!

One of the best neopolitan pizzas I've had anywhere. Try the Alabama White BBQ pizza. Also the basic cheese pizza was delicious with just the right amount of sauce, mozzarella, parm & basil. Everything was excellent and food very fresh. There's something for everyone here. Meat lovers, vegans, and anything in between. Spaghetti squash and pulled pork BBQ in a NC BBQ sauce were excellent also. We will be back.

All in all the food was great. Ordered the black angus beef ribeye. It had great flavor, but ordered it medium rare and for how thin it was, came out more medium to medium well. For $65 steak, one would think they would make it properly. I am not one to send back, it wasn't dry, and great flavor, but they need to work on their proper cook temps if they are charging that much for a meal. Apps were smoked oysters...good, but probably would have gone with the mussels that a friend ordered as there were more, more flavor. Apple salad, phenomenal! All in all will be going back, just not for the steak :)

Tried five different cocktails, and each was to die for. Brick oven pizza was fantastic, Tom Yum was out of this world, and the cod special was unforgettable. Not used to a restaurant knocking everything out of the ballpark like this. Service was fantastic too, and happy hour prices were very reasonable. My only criticism at all is that there seems to be a huge atmospheric difference between sitting on the western and eastern sides of the restaurant. Western side has more spaced out tables and a window (where we were seated) and the Eastern side looked more cramped and dark.We will be coming back again and again, but we'll be requesting a table by the sole window each time.
