I stopped at Despina’s Bakery this morning on my way into the office. Originally thinking I would grab fast food on West 117th St, I remembered I had a yogurt with fruit, nuts, and honey at Despina‘s a few months ago and realized that would be the perfect breakfast. While I was there, I picked up some chili for lunch. Both meals were delicious. The chili is not hot spicy, but the spices in it are amazing and it is extremely meaty. I’m only sad. Only nice thing I can say is that the food was pretty good. Service was terrible! I don't know if the woman I dealt with was the owner but she was very rude and I will never return for that reason alone. No class or professionalism at all. Absolutely NO parking except meters.
