We stopped in during happy hour. The building is gorgeous. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. My cocktail was a bit weak. The half Muze salad was a good size for 1-person. Ordered 2 pizzas - the basic with extra toppings and the tree hugger. Both were good, but not the best I've ever had. Dough was good and chewy, but the flavor profile was very mild, too mild. Needs some zing!**after we got home, we realized that we got charged full price for items we ordered off of the happy hour menu. :(

Loved getting pizza from Eat Me Pizzeria on Fourth of July. The person who is checked us out was so friendly and polite. They have the one of the best pizza’s. We got 3 pizza’s that were all exquisite in taste and a soon point in their flavor. We got their Trojan which is like a supreme, but the ones that stole my heart were the spicy pig with the chorizo, pineapple, smoked paprika aioli and red pickled onion. The absolute star of the show was their Danny Boy pizza with the Peach, manchego cheese, basil and balsamic drizzle and honey reduction. The place looks like a dreamland from inside. I’m already craving more of their delish pizza!Vegetarian options: The Danny Boy, Tree Lover, the Basic

Interesting concept open space! Grabbed takeout but going in to pick it up made me interested in going back to sit down and have a meal or drink. I thought the website said there was a sidewalk window for pizza takeout, I didn't see it. Maybe it was closed for winter? Regardless, the pizza was good and the atmosphere made me want to go back

Went to Eat Me Pizzeria as my first stop on this year's Pizza Week. Located as part of the Studio West 117 at 1384 Hird Avenue in Lakewood, near to the intersection of Detroit and 117th Streets, it can be a bit hard to find since it is off the main street. Once there you find a new development that has a large modern bar/lounge area with a couple of kitchens. I got there in mid afternoon and I was pretty much the only customer there with a bunch of staff there getting things together for the evening. The service was good, very welcoming and helpful. I of course ordered the Pizza Week special which is the Tree Lovers Pizza that has a creamy garlic base with sautéed spinach, mushrooms, onions, mozzarella and goat cheese. The pizza came out in a timely manner, hot and fresh.I liked the pizza since it came together as a nicely composed pie. The crust was clearly hand stretched and fresh with a nice char; it was thin with some nice risen bubbles. The garlic base was flavorful without being overwhelming. The cheese was fully cooked and got a nice tang from the goat cheese. The veggies were fresh and fully cooked, with the only nit being that I would have liked a bit more of the spinach. Eat Me Pizza turns out a very nice modern pizza that is a bit upscale, tasty and well made. Definately worth a try if you are in the area.
