Forage Public House is a local eatery that features a decent selection of beer and wine, along with a popular chicken and waffles dish. Recent reviews highlight positive changes to the menu, including the addition of Middle Eastern flavors and spices, which guests have enjoyed. Visitors have had wonderful experiences, often dining outside and praising the flavors, quality, and service. The food is generally fresh and delicious, with some highlighting items like the Muhamara appetizer, Gnocci, Lakewood Citizen salad, and the breakfast burrito. Customers appreciate the friendly and attentive staff, with many noting that their servers make them feel welcomed and comfortable. Forage is recognized as a good spot for a neighborhood meal, and some guests enjoyed unique offerings like the pierogis served on a bed of sautéed spinach. However, there are concerns about noise levels, especially when seated near loud groups, and some reports of long wait times, missing items, and communication issues during takeout. Despite these challenges, Forage remains a popular choice for quick meals and special occasions like Mother's Day brunch, with the potential for a great dining experience when circumstances align.
