Great atmosphere. Friendly help. Had salmon and grouper over beet salad. Extremely small portion of salmon. Very small and mushy grouper costing an additional $12 to add to salad. They certainly could have sold more drinks and desert if they were properly staffed. In looking at other food diners had ordered, I suspect you’d be better off with a pizza. The hummus was fine. What a shame because the atmosphere is great. So many other places to choose from when wanting to eat out.

We went for dinner is everything was great! My favorite part was the drinks. The blueberry tasted very fresh. The dinner met expectations. We tried the key lime cheesecake for dessert and it was just alright. Tasted like one you can get at the store.. Probably would pass on dessert. But we had a great time and would come again.

We have been there for a wedding ( it was excellent) and then a couple times after. It was always fantastic. Last night? I couldn’t believe it. We ordered 4 apps and every one of them ranged from blah to awful. Mushroom and prosciutto pizza was flavorless, hard to do with prosciutto, and undercooked. Calamari was like eating breaded rubber if you even got any. Half the bowl was just chunks of fried breading. The truffle fries were so soggy and covered in Parmesan they were gross. Lastly were the short rib sliders, while the meat was tender, it was unseasoned. They were also cold and soggy. We kept thinking…oh the next thing will be good, hoping for the best. Not sure we will give it another go. The no wait in a Friday night at 7:00 should have been a clue.
Don't understand how you have happy hour at the bar. Yet don't get happy hour pricing sitting at a table during happy hour.

Georgetown is one of my favorite restaurants and bars. The food and service have always been good. It has a classy atmosphere and a great happy hour. The martinis and pizzas are some of my favorite items. It also has a very nice patio. I would recommend it.

Georgetown has always been a favorite among my friends and family, and i’ve been here dozens of times. I am not sure what’s changed over the last few years, but the food has become worse and worse each time I’ve come here. Extremely sad given it’s one of the best patios in the area, but everything we ordered was either super dry, watered down, bland/unseasoned, or in the case of my crème brûlée, soupy and not properly torched. It seems a lot of the other recent reviews seem to have had similar experiences. Not worth the inflated prices at all.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had, and I have never left a bad review in my life, since I’ve been in the industry for 15 years & can understand things happen. This was not the case on Saturday night. We put reservations in for the patio, knowing it is first come first serve. We got there and were immediately told we couldn’t do the patio bc the forecast said 10% chance of rain. After back and forth with the very rude and dismissive hostess, we decided to just sit inside since it was my friends birthday & we didn’t want to argue. We sat there for 20 mins, made eye contact with just about EVERY employee in the restaurant, including the female manager that walked past our table MULTIPLE times. Thankfully a young man came up trying to help us and figure out our server. By that time we were ready to order, so he took the order and said our server would be right over. We got our food, and were not checked on once, no server in sight. Empty drinks, no salt, pepper, ketchup etc. I had to stand at the host stand for 5 mins while people walked back and forth passing me with no attention of my existence. Just so we could get boxes and the check. The manager decides to finally come over making a very odd scene and then later trying to blame the young man who was trying to help us when it was very obviously not his section? This is not okay. He was the ONLY person to even acknowledge our existence and this all falls on the manager doing her job poorly. We were not compensated or given a discount, or even asked what they could do to rectify such a terrible experience. We also had a very drunk man from another party come up to our table twice, harassing us. The situation was handled very poorly, & the manager should be questioned. We will not be back.

Our reservations were at 8:00pm, we did not receive our first appetizer until 9pm, and our second didn’t come out at the same time as the first. Every food item was more underwhelming than the next. Underseasoned, seemed like the Marsala sauce was a powder and not homemade. And for as long as the food took to come out, nothing was hot.
Our server was extremely apologetic, but the quality of the food was not reflected by the price.

I have eaten at Georgetown many times and I’ve always enjoyed it. Last night I was very disappointed with many things. I ordered the pear and Gorgonzola salad with shrimp as my entrée. Everyone got their dinners and I sat there waiting for almost 10 minutes. I flagged down the waitress and she said she would have it out shortly. It came out on a very tiny plate with five or six little shrimps, they were supposed to be blackened But they were not. The salad did not look very appetizing and when I tried to cut it, because the plate was so small the salad was falling onto the table. I’m not a person who usually complains, but I was really dissatisfied with yesterdays meal.

Went there to celebrate an anniversary. Happy Hour on patio was excellent. Weather was great, drinks and food were excellent and service was right on time, ranks Maddie. Best value was Wine & Dine $55/couple. 2 salads, 2 entrees & bottle of wine. We took food home, the portions were generous.
