Totally disappointed in the change! Melt WAS the reason to make a trip to Cleveland. Melt was always such a gem. This was always the planned eating spot when coming to town. DEFINITELY not any more. Ruined a GREAT thing.

This is the new refurbished Melt. The menu is simpler, but still great food and service.

Celebrating a Thursday, so we're enjoying Vegan Night at MELT. Great new menu. Lovely cocktails. We're adding this restaurant back into our rotation!

Had good experiences before but recently all bad. Ordered steak dinner and Mac n cheese + chicken dinner. Steak was very undercooked, ordered medium rare and it came extremely rare, blue even. Pre sliced so the chef knew it was raw still, also missing the chimmichurri sauce. The Mac n cheese + chicken was just as bad. Bare noodles, the minimal cheese sauce was at the bottom of the bowl like it was added first and not even enough to cover the noodles after mixing, Mac n cheese is $12 bucks, all fine. Adding chicken costs $4, also not an issue. The chicken added was 1-2 slices of deli chicken from the little package at the grocery store, problem. Not a resteraunt experience, food was mediocre even for a mom and pop diner at best. Won't return.

The food was fabulous. We added bacon to The Graduate and it was divine. Wait staff was outstanding.

We visited for the first time since the revamp and had a wonderful experience. I got the Eggplant Parm sandwich which comes on the new style ciabatta bread and it was excellent. My wife got the Parmageddon which is very similar to the original, but the ingredients seemed fresher. If you're looking for the old Melt you might be disappointed, but we really appreciated the fresh take on the menu. The old vibe is still very much there, but it has a slightly elevated feeling to it now and they still have a great beer selection. I would highly recommend checking it out and trying some of the new menu items. Everything we ordered was really tasty.

I ordered takeout via DoorDash, I ordered the main dish Mac n cheese and the fresh Cut fries. The Mac n cheese is made with rigatoni noodles and in my opinion is too big of a noodle for that, and there wasn’t much sauce so it was like you’re eating a dry, flavorless pasta noodle, there is no seasoning in the cheese sauce it’s just very bland all around. My toddler wouldn’t even eat it and she loves Mac n cheese. The fries were ok.

We have been to Melt several times in the past so I was pretty excited to be in the area today so we could stop in. I was super disappointed when I saw how much they changed their vegan options, hardly offering any. We ordered the buffalo tofu "wings" as an appetizer and it was probably the best thing. I ordered the vegan veggie burger and was extremely disappointed. I only took one bite before deciding to not eat at all. The prices were extremely high, too. For 2 adults and 2 kids it cost us $103 and the service was absolutely terrible. Extremely expensive and extremely disappointing.

Abusive, drunken staff, health code violations and insect infestations. There's a reason every other location has closed down. Do not go here if you value your health or money.

We got the mushroom melt and the mac and cheese. The mushroom melt was amazing, savory, melty, and just the right amount of tough (so you feel like you're biting into a cheese steak). The mac and cheese was a let down, it was rigatoni with cheese melted on top. It missed the texture mark and the taste was off.

It’s sad to have watched Melt drop down to one location. After our last meal at the Lakewood spot, I’m officially done. The entry greeted us with a smell of mildew. The bar area had the unpleasant aroma of bad fish. Our appetizer was flat and the cheese flavorless. Each item fell sort of the mark. Even the menus came up short. Bring back the album jackets.

I truly miss the prime days of Melt. Food used to taste as if cooked with some emotion or creativity. Now it has the impression of being cooked by automatons.

After the relaunch, everything that made this place Great is now gone.Everything that you would imagine a place called the melt would have they do not. The macaroni and cheese bowls they used to serve put that place on the map. Bring it back of sell me the Recipe. Chicken bacon ranch With ghost pepper cheese.
