We visited for the first time since the revamp and had a wonderful experience. I got the Eggplant Parm sandwich which comes on the new style ciabatta bread and it was excellent. My wife got the Parmageddon which is very similar to the original, but the ingredients seemed fresher. We got the mushroom melt and the mac and cheese. The mushroom melt was amazing, savory, melty, and just the right amount of tough (so you feel like you're biting into a cheese steak). The mac and cheese was a let down, it was rigatoni with cheese melted on top. It missed the texture mark and the taste was off.
I used to love this place but it feels like a shell of what it used to be. I had high hopes after the reopening that they were returning to their old form, but it honestly just doesn't have the spark anymore that I fell in love with when I first came here. I really wish this business the best and hope they succeed, but I don't know that it's for me anymore.
