The chicken shawarma is a standout, and the falafel wrap is elevated by perfectly pickled root veggies. It's a takeout place mostly, but don't let that put you off. And make sure to order the baklava for dessert!“

“A quaint place for delicious Syrian food! Got the chicken on French fries and kibbeh. Their Garlic sauce is beyond delicious and the chicken was well seasoned. The gentleman who served us was very kind and friendly and gave us a tiramisu on the house, this type of customer service is genuine and rare. Highly recommend trying this place!“

“Delicious and very affordable lunch option in the 5th street arcades. The building is a bit depressing these days on the inside, but the food and service are ultimately what matters and neither disappoints. The lamb in the lamb wrap was perfectly cooked when I got it. Highly recommend for a quick and cheap lunch.“

“Friends brought tubs of beet as well as turmeric hummus to a party. They had such a great texture and flavor, I could not stop eating it, and the colors were so bright and vibrant. I said we needed to go get some of our own. So the next day we went to the market and found Jacob’s and got two different types and they were delicious as well. Shout out to the dill pickle hummus. It’s going on my most favorite eats list.“

“I’ve loved this place for ever! The food is EXCELLENT, authentic and just TASTY! My ONLY complaint is the condition of their women’s bathroom. It is DISGUSTING, just despicable and it’s been this way for far too long. It feels like the owner doesn’t care about women when you look at the condition of the restroom. The bathroom is just as IMPORTANT as the restaurant. Floor and ceiling falling apart, no purse hanger, doors don’t lock properly soap dispensers don’t work, paper towel isn’t in a dispenser but rather on the sink. It’s just so WRONG. As much as I love the food I hate having to go to their bathroom. Kinda pitiful come to think of it. I don’t know why they won’t fix this PROBLEM but maybe if they addressed it the establishment would gain more customers and retain them. Just my two cents.“

“I have frequented many Aladdin’s but I had to leave a positive review for the exceptional service I received Friday evening. I was in a rush to the airport and our waitress got our food in very quickly, and was very attentive. I would highly recommend this place as a stop for a healthy lunch or dinner before a flight out of Cleveland Hopkins.“
