“I found out about this place because where I work my colleague orders food from here often and it’s very very good. It’s made the way it should taste. I called ahead for takeout and it was ready as soon as I arrived. The place was clean. They have outdoor seating. It’s a very quiet neighborhood and it’s not far from where I work and I’m so excited about that! I had a taste for Schwarma and hummus, and I’m completely satisfied.“

“We had a great experience at Damascus Gate! We tried the burger, cheeseburger, fries, and chicken with rice — and everything was delicious. The portions were huge, fresh, and the presentation was clean and neat.
The place itself felt very clean, and the staff was incredibly polite and welcoming. You can really tell they care about the customer experience.
Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and craving some Middle Eastern comfort food. We left full and happy!“

“Delicious and very affordable lunch option in the 5th street arcades. The building is a bit depressing these days on the inside, but the food and service are ultimately what matters and neither disappoints. The lamb in the lamb wrap was perfectly cooked when I got it. Highly recommend for a quick and cheap lunch.“

“Friends brought tubs of beet as well as turmeric hummus to a party. They had such a great texture and flavor, I could not stop eating it, and the colors were so bright and vibrant. I said we needed to go get some of our own. So the next day we went to the market and found Jacob’s and got two different types and they were delicious as well. Shout out to the dill pickle hummus. It’s going on my most favorite eats list.“

“I have frequented many Aladdin’s but I had to leave a positive review for the exceptional service I received Friday evening. I was in a rush to the airport and our waitress got our food in very quickly, and was very attentive. I would highly recommend this place as a stop for a healthy lunch or dinner before a flight out of Cleveland Hopkins.“

“I’ve loved this place for ever! The food is EXCELLENT, authentic and just TASTY! My ONLY complaint is the condition of their women’s bathroom. It is DISGUSTING, just despicable and it’s been this way for far too long. It feels like the owner doesn’t care about women when you look at the condition of the restroom. The bathroom is just as IMPORTANT as the restaurant. Floor and ceiling falling apart, no purse hanger, doors don’t lock properly soap dispensers don’t work, paper towel isn’t in a dispenser but rather on the sink. It’s just so WRONG. As much as I love the food I hate having to go to their bathroom. Kinda pitiful come to think of it. I don’t know why they won’t fix this PROBLEM but maybe if they addressed it the establishment would gain more customers and retain them. Just my two cents.“

“We really enjoyed eating here while traveling from out of town. We stayed a little longer on Monday just to try here (they were unfortunately closed on weekend).
