I haven't gone to Mr Hero much in the last few years because I thought they were falling off, but it turns out this location is just not very good. Staff is polite but the food is not the same as other locations. I don't think they slice the onions at all, just separate the segments so you get huge chunks of onion on your Romanburger that I've never seen at any other location. I also think they let the pre-prepared buns with the lettuce/tomato/etc sit out for hours at room temperature because the lettuce always seems kind of wilted and gross and the tomato is mushy. Went to the 117th location today and it was night and day. So much better. Makes me want to start going to Mr Hero again. Not sure what's up with this location but they need to put more effort into preparing the veggies and holding them at proper temperatures.

I tried to order online and it would not take. I only seem to have troubles at this Mr Hero. I went inside and the person taking my order has issues.
The biggest issue was using my coupon. They had to call someone. I was to get a free medium sandwich and the would only give me . 75 cents. The coupon was clearly on my phone. The next biggest discrepancy was I ordered the same exact thing on my phone in store and it was cheaper online than it was in the store.

Really really small portions and gave me the wrong size but the real disappointment was the service. Not only was the owner rude, rushing us the whole time, (with no customers) he refused to accept my coupon

I absolutely will never go back here. We did originally try using the app, but it wasn't working correctly, so we stopped at the Mr Heros on Kamms corner, and the employee was unable to use the coupon on the app. He said there was nothing he could do. So, we went to this, Mr Heros. The coupon was gone from the app bc he did scan it at the first location. When we called the one on Kamms, he reached out to the owner to see if he would take the coupon manually off. He said there was nothing he could or would do for us even though his employee was the one who did not know how to apply it in the first place. Same owner for both locations.

Ordered online, when I got there they told me they didn’t have my order. Only when I pulled it up on my phone did they say ‘oh yeah’. She was rude and acted like I was inconveniencing HER. They did not have the order ready, even though it was past the pick up time the app gave me AND when I got home, the order was wrong and missing items. This used to be a great Mr Hero, but I will not go back here. I’ll drive to the one on 117th from now on.

I love Mr Hero, all locations the food always tastes the same, except from this location. The bread was stale for both the chicken philly and romanburger. The chicken philly chicken tasted very strange and rubberry, way too much green peppers and onions and no extra cheese that I was charged for. The Roman urgee was partially cooked withdays old limp lettuce, no tomato and the largest strongest white onions piled high. Sandwich was served slightly cool, not warm and definitely not hot. I threw both away. The two old men working were not friendly and looked just as bad as the food tasted. Will never support this location. The location onW 117th serves food that represents Mr Hero. Corporate should definitely do some quality control secret shopping at this location to see just how bad it is.

App didn’t work. Cashier was rude about it and I was the one who had to wait 20 extra minutes when I was busy. Food was incorrect too. Not sure if more could be needed to dissuade you from coming
I ordered online & the staff was so polite! The food looks amazing and I can’t wait to eat it.

The man that runs this establishment is one of the sweetest kindest men I have ever met in my life. It is one day before my pay day and i have overdraft protection that normally works. My children wanted Mr Hero and i only had 25 dollars. But i knew i get paid tomorrow so if my account goes negative it will be for less than 6 hours. Well my overdraft protection wouldn’t let the payment go through. I felt embarrassed and upset that they prepared food i couldn’t pay for. He didn’t make scene or cause a fuss. He took my 25 dollars and ask i come back and pay him tomorrow. Something most establishments wouldn’t do. I appreciate his kindness and will go in tomorrow and tip very well. Having your card declined is so embarrassing and he was so sweet about it. I will never go in anywhere thinking my bank had me covered ever again. But this was the kindest act I’ve seen in a long time.
