This meal was such a blessing ?❤️ First of all, the two young men running the front of house are such gentlemen! They were attentive, knowledgeable, and polite, the people who raised them should be so proud! I had the fried okra and shrimp n grits, the okra was fried to perfection and the dipping sauce it comes with was delectable. The shrimp were juicy, the sauce was perfect, and the grits! The grits were somehow amazingly creamy and rich and also fluffy and light?? I'm on my third day of working doubles and to sit down for a bit and read my book and have such a nourishing, well cooked meal was a much needed relief. I hope by the time I am posting this review, your restaurant is full to the brim with a Saturday night rush! Thank you so much!

This meal was a experience. The ambience was just right service by the young man and owner Ms Shelia was great. Now for the food I had the fried perch , Mac and cheese, greens with corn bread. Everything seemed fresh cooked to order and presentation was great. Ather dinner I was greated by the owner that was nice. I recommend this place to all very nice and will be one of my go to places on West side monthly.

The customer service was exceptional from start to finish, making me feel completely at home upon entering the establishment. I am not a soul food person per se, but this is one of the more charming restaurants and venues I've ever come across. And the food is absolutely scrumptious. It's a family operation, with two adorable young boys as hosts. So imagine coming to a wonderful house and getting served by a great family, at a decent price.

We’ve been waiting for this spot to open and so glad we finally had the chance to experience it. Together we ordered: - Chicken and Waffles: pleasantly surprised to see that they were real, bone-in chicken with sweet waffles - Collard greens: I’ve personally never had it this way with small beef cuts but loved it - Mac n Cheese: this is a must order! - Corn bread: soft, sweet Cajun Chicken Sandwich: I will definitely say that overall, their chicken game is very strong - Fries: perfect thickness and zest
