might be the best pizza I’ve ever had. anytime I feel like some pizza I order from here & it’s amazing every time. toppings are delicious & I really love their sauce! I like that they cut their pizza into squares & how crispy the crust is. it’s perfect.

Poor Junior's knocked it out of the park. Quality food with fresh ingredients. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. Major bonus points for have free arcade games onsite. Being only steps away from so many other hot spots in Lakewood make Poor Junior's a no brainer.

This is our go-to pizza shop in Lakewood. We love the pepperoni pizza and how they cut it into squares. The crust and sauce are great!

Ok being a Lakewooder I LOVE pizza right? Like almost everyone. I have my normal places we go to but today while walking to the ATT store we walked by and the aroma from the pizza shop was enough to make me want to order. It smelled SO good outside and honestly it was just as good while eating it.

Poor Junior's is awesome! They have free arcade style games while you wait for your delicious perfectly topped pizzas! The sauce they use is so fresh and compliments the savory toppings. The sausage is so amazing you can taste all the herbs and spices. Highly recommend for the taste & service. Great hidden gem in Lakewood!

Poor Junior's tastes like a really good version of Donato's pizza. If that sounds like a great pizza to you, then you'll love this place. For me, that sounds good but not amazing. The pizza is Columbus style. It has a thin, cracker-like crust, sweet tangy sauce, and is loaded with toppings. The pepperoni's at Poor Junior's are of particularly good quality as is the sausage. The other toppings are fresh but nothing spectacular. I'm not a huge fan of the crust, though it's in keeping with the style. Overall, Poor Juniors does an excellent job being what it sets out to be. A top of the line Columbus pizza joint. However, if you're me, that makes it good but not great inherently.

Excellent pizza. After seeing a review on a news show, my husband said we needed to try it. We are east siders and have been long time visitors of a pizza shop that has been established in their community for over 50 years, but, we now have made a serious change. The thin crust, wonderful sauce and fresh vegetables and meat makes for a great tasting pizza. The place is very clean and the customer service is supreme. How often do you hear the person apologize when they had to place you on hold once they return to complet your call? I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed. We have made a major switch and it is worth the ride which is about a 40 minute commute for us, but we consider it well worth the adventure.

Poor Junior's isn't bad, but it's not great. It's a good value, but the crust tastes like a cracker. It's Columbus style, but not sure what that really means. It'd be a great pizza to bring to a bar where you're meeting your friends because it's cut into a lot of little pieces.

If you haven't found this spot yet, you need to visit. If you follow my reviews you know I'm all about pizza, and not just any pizza, QUALITY. This business checks all of the boxes there, crust (if you like thin), quality toppings, fresh, made to order. This stuff is tasty but I don't want to focus there. What really impressed me is he ownership and the service. Everything was pleasant and professional about my pick-up experience there. I don't know what the plans are for the business but I hope to see a satellite on the east side some day soon. Hidden gem.

We ordered Poor Juniors via Uber Eats last night and I have to say that this was A+ pizza. I actually didn't know that they only serve thin crust pizza, but it was excellent. The crust was thin and perfectly crispy with the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. We ordered an extra large single topping pizza with pepperoni. Every cm of that pizza was covered in the most delicious pepperoni. The pizza was not greasy at all and the pepperonis curled up and were crispy on the edges. It doesn't taste like any other pizza I've had in Lakewood, a real gem.

Pizza was good but not great. But the really bad thing is it could have been great! They do give you a ton of toppings but the sauce and the cheese do not have much flavor at all. Man if they got some good cheese and added some seasoning to their sauce there would be no stopping this little place! Workers/owner are super nice and the place is really clean!

Absolutely delicious! We will be back many more times.

Best pizza in town. A must try for every pizza aficionado.

🍕 Pizza was delicious and tasty. Toppings were a little sparse and even though we ordered the pie with extra cheese there was no noticable difference. Sixteen dollars for a medium cut pizza was a tad bit on the pricey side. However, though it was a tasty pie.
