Tried kava for the first time here, the bartender was generous enough to give me a free sample. It didn’t taste as bad I thought it would. Just kinda earthy and slightly better. It gave my mouth a slightly numb feeling which was interesting
Apparently the kratom is more popular here. Unlike kava, which is a sedative, some types of kratom have a stimulating effect similar to caffeine. I tried the black lavender kratom which was quite nice, basically tasted like lemonade
The vibe is very chill, and there’s lots of comfy seating inside. Overall enjoyed this place a lot!

Love this place. This was my first introduction to kava, kratom, kanna, and blue lotus. I've enjoyed trying all of them. It's a nice alternative to going to a bar in my opinion and it's wonderful to have all of these options for social non-alcoholic feel-good beverages to enjoy with friends. It's definitely a different vibe and the place attracts an odd crowd but everyone is really chill and friendly.
