Rude to guests for asking a simple question. You weren’t that busy to be speaking to anyone the way you were. Get a grip lady in the orange.

Tated Older woman was abrupt , cold, with poor customer service skills. Example replied no tuna instead of I am so sorry we are out of tuna today.the chicken salad was dry, tough, and turning light brown. Not spoiled but a Subway manager would have thrown it away. We were the only customers, they could have asked us why we left so much food.I left wanting to drop off a full spectrum light and a bottle of Wellbutrin every employee had a depressed affect about them. For 30 USD overpriced. We live in Europe part of the year and could have had a fresh sea bass vegetables and two glasses of wine for the same price.

The man that answers the phone is a disembodied spirit from another plain. He is only available to let you know about the flavors you are going to savor as you float down the river Styx. Not everything is available for everyone. Only he knows your sandwhich worth.

Every sandwich is the best I've ever had. Can't get enough! Even ingredients I don't usually like, onion or mayo, get used in ways that make the whole product more delicious. I make a point to try everything on the menu and am never disappointed. Awesome deserts also, one tiramisu or macaron is never enough. They get busy, and sometimes can be slow or out of things. This is a reasonable trade-off for me. Pricey for a sandwich, but the value is still very high when you consider the quality.

Quick summary: sandwiches are awesome, great selection of both ingredients and sides/goodies in the "grocery" section, can't complain about the price as it's on-par with similar places. I'll pick TOST over TJ's Butcher Block and Dave's Cosmic Subs all day every day. Pro tip: ORDER AHEAD *ONLINE* for the best experience here! I'll explain why.The corned beef here is just OK, and it's often sold out. Huge fan of the Italian, the turkey club, and the tuna salad. Pretty much any type of classic sandwich you'd want is on offer here, and it's big enough to be split by two people for lunch. Quality of ingredients is above-average for this type of sandwich spot. The wide variety of potato salads are can't-miss IMO. The steakhouse salad is an auto-order every time.Bless the owner for hiring high-schoolers and kids in their early 20's, as its harder and harder for that generation to find work, but the service is pretty hit or miss because of it. I say this as a former high-schooler who worked at a Subway and good lord I was the worst employee on the planet. I get it.I'm not a needy person or a "karen" by any means. Very basic stuff like "no onions" or "sauce on the side" often gets ignored/forgotten. I'm not allergic to anything so it's fine at the end of the day. I never have any issues when I order ahead online, it's just in-person or over the phone. You order from one counter, then I would assume that computer tells the computer in the sandwich-making area how to make your sandwich. Yet every time some detail falls through the cracks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯The other night I stopped by to grab a cookie and some potato salad to go. I asked for one medium container of one variety which was served out of a big tub. This came out as expected. I then asked for a small container of a different variety, which was already batched out in small containers. Somehow the process of packing and bagging this stuff up took ten minutes, and they scooped the contents of all 3 small containers of pre-batched salad into one large container. I only paid for small so I'll be munching on this for a week. Fine by me I guess!I'll continue to eat here regularly, as the sandwiches are great and worth the minor hassles. Plus it's local which is always a nice plus. If you're the type of person who gets hot and bothered by lukewarm service and the occasional goof with your order I would approach with caution. I would not trust TOST to wrangle a big order for an office where half the people ordering are allergic to air and need special accommodations.Parking: It's on a busy main road in Lakewood. Some free street parking can be found further off Madison, and there's a handful of meters out front.

This place was terrible. They cannot process as many sandwiches as are needed to satisfy a lunch crowd with their small operation. I arrived at 1140 and did not get my turkey and roast beef sandwich until 1215. I wanted to eat there but had to leave with it as I was running out of time on my lunch hour. The inside of the sandwich was cold as they tried to rush too many through the panini machines. The flavors were not good as well because they used too many red onions. You could t even taste the chipotle mayo. Waste of time and money. Will not return.

Great sandwich variety with meat and cheese sliced to order with a wide array of toppings and an awesome case of side dishes. Great spot for quick bite to eat. The prices and portions can't be beat either!

Very delicious sandwiches done right! The awesome people working behind the counter are very kind and helpful as well. I had a bunch of questions since it was my first time there and they were still very pleasant lol. I don’t think it was too pricey for what I got. The sandwiches are HUGE and worth it. Tasted very fresh and I believe most of thier offers are homemade. I will be back soon.

Excellent food, seems fresh made. Generous portions, and very reasonably priced. The girl who took our order basically ordered for us since we'd never been there before. She made great choices and was very friendly. We left with delicious looking desserts

I tried this shop for the first time today. I ordered the bird cage sandwich, it was huge and delicious with the creamy dill potato salad on the side. I also ordered a cappuccino and salted Carmel Brownie from the cafe side, both were delicious but the brownie was amazing! I ordered it to go but there is seating inside.
