Owners are very cheap, and even steal tips from the bartenders. They haven't done any repairs or necessary maintenance to the bar since taking over from their father. The drinks and usually cheap, but that's because they don't put any liquor in them. They only do 1 ounce pours, this has to be the only bar in the world doing this. They also refill bottles daily with liquor from other bottles instead of letting the bottles empty and then restocking with a new bottle. Pretty sure that's against health code. I've only been going there for 1.5 years since I moved in up the rd. I have watched 15-20 bartenders come and go through there in that time. Obviously that is a sign of horrible ownership and management. I prefer to drink liquor, but have started drinking beer, because I atleast know what's in the bottles. You can't really trust whats in the liquor bottles, due to them being refilled by owners.

This is a near 100 + year old, original USA pub, bar etc. Holding it to a modern new joint view is unfair. It is what it is and that is quite good. Friendly, well staffed, drink good and people welcoming. It has a "Fairview" of the Lancaster Ridge overlook of all Lancaster and beside the oldest county fairground, Fairfield, in Ohio. We had a very pleasant respite. Say hello to Ally should you join her there.

I went here and there's the same way , they haven't updated the dirty discussing place. You try to play pool and this guy cleaned the table and the girl smoking inside the place that thought apparently she was manager. I never seen a pool game that took an hr because the trashed queen manager could barely talk they had let her get so trashed she could've fell and hit her head and died so I lefty the disgusting place

This is a great little place in Lancaster Ohio. The food is great service is amazing and the people are friendly proud. I personally don't consume alcohol and the Bloody Mary they served looked amazing and it was given a five-star rating hope you enjoy the picture of it.
