Horrible restaurant along with a horrible nasty waitress who wears an odd bizarre hat, has no idea what she’s doing. No chopsticks on the tables no sauce dishes. What sushi place doesn’t have that already set up? The temperature of the restaurant is freezing. I ask for specific things such as not crispy gyoza I still got crispy. I asked for a non spicy sushi roll bc I can’t tolerate spicy she brought me a spicy one on purpose. She was agitated about my valid issue of changing the roll when there shouldn’t be one to begin with. Her goal was to do whatever it takes so I don’t return which I definitely won’t. But you disrespect me you get it dished right back in your face. She stated to the chef to leave out an ingredient in my roll which should have her fired for altering a customers dish or roll without permission. The waitress also looks like she’s on heavy drugs with a slurred speech and very shaky. The rolls are more rice than fish and who gives ginger dressing in to go cups. A very poor poor experience. She has 4 tables to serve and has problems with taking care of things. I was profiled by this lowlife waitress and she caused lots of problems. Do not come to this place. It is awfulAnd not worth it!

Overall, my experience at Kanji Steakhouse in Lancaster, Ohio was a mixed bag. The service was generally good, with attentive servers and a standout cook who delivered delicious meals. However, the host's lingering stares throughout the meal were off-putting, and the imposition of an 18% gratuity for what seemed like a small group was a bit disappointing. I guess our friendliness to the others cause them to believe we were together. Additionally, the restaurant's lack of allergy-friendly options and the sushi chef's inability to guarantee against cross-contamination was concerning, though I recognize that this might not be entirely within their control.

The Service is outstanding. What a fun place to take a group.
Service and atmosphere were great. Although my steak was a tad over done and the vegetables were overcooked I'm sure it was a one time thing and will still return at some point.

Food was good, service was good, cleanliness was bad. The entire time we were there, the employees sat at the bar playing on their phones, meanwhile tables sat for the entire length of our stay with bowls of food and plates sitting out, and nobody would bus the tables. I'm left wondering who is in charge, or what the owner's must think.
