I’ve been in Lancaster for several years and, regretfully, this is this first time I’ve had a fish sandwich from Madison’s. I had every intention of saving some for my husband, but before I knew it, I had consumed it all. This was by far the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had. I will definitely be going back…..and maybe taking my husband with me.

Not sure why but, I only went to the fair to get Madison's fish. Then I realized I can have it anytime I want and I don't have to pay for admission. Lol I LOVE their fish sandwich!!! So yummy! My new added favorite if their mushrooms. If you haven't tried them, you definitely need too! Great local restaurant!

The food is delicious. The tv was on and it was a little loud. There's not much that can be done to improve the atmosphere but it is very clean.
This is the best place to get fish. I have eaten here for many years and will continue.

Best fish ever! I know alot of people think you can only get your Madison Fish sandwich at the fair or local festival. But you can get it year round at their restaurant on Madison Ave. Thank you Mike and Crew!

I love fish fry and i was at the Pumpkin Festival in Circleville and they had a food truck. Before i stood in line I figured I would ask what kind of fish it was. Most places say what lind of fish they have whether it be perch, haddock, cod, etc. when i asked the older gentleman there he wouldn't tell me what kind. When i said "I just want to know if its perch, or cod, or whatever". He was very arrogant and said "i'm not telling you, too much competition". Well, that attitude didn't sit well with me. I could have cared less what your recipe is. There are some fish i don't like and i didn't want to pay for a fish that i know i wouldn't like. So, i won't even try this place now. As a business owner myself, i would never treat a possible customer with such arrogance.

Decently good food. Went for the fish sandwich, and I'd say it was above average, and huge. Friendly staff. They only take cash, but this wasn't an issue. Only 4 stars because the place was kind of a mess, with tons of random things on the counters. It's also not well renovated, so don't expect anything too fancy.
