Roots Restaurant

This was our first time eating here. I highly recommend giving it a try. Very friendly staff and the homemade food was just that. Potato salad tasted just like mom used to make. They get 20 stars.

Great place to take family for a nice home cooked meal. Food is great and very affordable.

Excellent fish dinner. Enjoyed broccoli cauliflower salad and macaroni salad. Yum.

This family run diner is a Lancaster, OH fixture on Memorial Drive/Ohio Route 33. Daily specials as well as cakes, pies & cobbler. Sandwiches & dinners with sides. Handicap parking & access ramp in the back with main parking in front. Handicap restroom available.

Baked Steak was awesome. Wish the mashed potatoes weren't instant. That would have elevated the dish. Also I had some of my Mom's chicken -n- noodles just as good as ever. Pleasant experience.

Today was my first visit to this restaurant, my girlfriend and I were very pleased with with service, food and friendliness here. The food was amazing, best I've had in a long time. Everyone was really nice and friendly. I will definitely keep coming back here!

Food was good server was excellent. The man that check me out was nice but when I got to my car I realized he shorted me 5.00.I gave him a 50 my bill was 15and some change also bought mms and life savers he said 18 and some change. He have me a 20 a 5 a 1 and the change.it should of been a 20, 10 ,. and 1 And change....

The food is very good! Service is good! Prices are reasonable! My husband & I don't get there every often! Wish we lived closer!

The tables were kind of dirty looking and the place looked like it needed some upkeep done. The employees were very friendly and welcoming. The food was okay but nothing exceptional. The thing that I found most disturbing was the "creamer" that was left in little tin "jars" on the table. It could be opened by anyone so it's hard to tell what could have been put in there by random people. Not only that but the creamer felt warm and it's hard to say how long it had sat on the table since it appeared it had been there all day. I didnt have to use creamer luckily but it still disgusted me a little.

Best breakfast place around. Great service and amazing food.

If you want to eat in peace this is not the place!!! I was eating my eggs and a group of old women that would not shut up about there hemorrhoids and cataracts. They just got on my last nerve and they would not shut up. The food was OK but if you like a quiet meal dont come here. DONT COME HERE ON SUNDAYS THE CHURCH GROUPS WILL DRIVE YOU NUTZ!!!!
