Went over to get a gift for a coworker for covering me. Was greeted by a worker named Kyle who was extremely informative and helpful (I hadn't had steak n' shake in over 10 years). I bought a shake for my coworker and I was talking with Kyle about how I missed the tallow fries the company used to carry. He informed me they were back and I immediately bought an order. Fresh and hot, perfect amount of salt. Excellent and fast service, made a regular out of me today you guys.

Long way from the old Steak and Shake which is probably why it was practically empty when we were there. You have to order and pay for your food through a kiosk. Nobody to take your order. Then you are suppose to know that you have to scan your receipt so the drink machine will allow a drink to be dispensed, again you have to do this yourself. I gave 2 stars because other than actually cooking the food you did everything yourself, and I was being generous. Place was clean, though it was empty of customers.

A little bit of a drive off the highway but kids wanted steak 'n. shake. Didn't rate atmosphere because we went through drive-thru. Keeping in mind we were the only people in line, the food was surprisingly hot and fresh and the staff was amazingly friendly. This experience was how you hope fast food drive-thru is going to be but rarely is.

I ordered online thinking I could come thru the drive thru, like other restaurants. But no, it's storming, lightning, raining, we have to come inside to pick up food. The app said ready in 5-10 minutes, so I waited 10 minutes. My food was cold. The hamburgers here used to be so good. Now the patties are so thin you have to look for it. Very disappointed. The reason people use apps is so they DON'T have to come inside.

It had been a while since I stopped here and the atmosphere has completely changed. There are no more servers, just kiosks were you're supposed to order. And at the end of the order, it asks you for a tip. For what? I had to get my own drink and food. The food quality was a lot lower than expected and I would have been better off getting a burger from somewhere else. The charm that this place had is gone with me.
