The braised beef grilled cheese was divine! A charming restaurant. I will be back.
Very disappointed with recent visit. Have come here for years. Friends wanted to eat here so we made a reservation thinking we would be at the Golden Lamb historic restaurant. Instead, we were seated in the hallway between the lobby and the tavern. Management was rude and uncaring saying only that "others had reserved tables". We had reserved a table!! Food was fair but expensive. $200 to sit in the hallway. Our server was apologetic. You have to do better than this!
My husband and I visited and had dinner for our anniversary. Our server Steve was absolutely wonderful! Very entertaining and knowledgeable about the inn. Atmosphere, food and service were impeccable. We cant wait to return for a stay.
