“My family and I were at Leetonia Dairy Queen tonight and it was very busy. I am an empathetic person and I could sense a lot of tension and stress amongst the employees. After we ordered and received our food, we saw a female employee storm out of the kitchen and say “I’m done!” The only two employees left working were very young and customers continued to walk through the doors. The teenage employees were stunned and upset. A couple of minutes later, the male teenage employee sheepishly stood at the cash register and said, “Our manager just walked out and we’re both underage so we have to close. We’re really sorry.” A bunch of us felt very sorry for the kids and went up and gave them extra tips. The teenage boy said, “Is it okay if I cry in front of all of you people?” We all reassured him and the female teenage employee that this was not their fault and that these things happen. They both cried and hugged each other. The boy put a handwritten closed sign on the door and began the process of locking up. One of the customers still inside with us finishing eating went over and hugged him. My 7 and 5 year old kids were watching this whole situation unfold and I was very happy with how the teenagers handled themselves in such a stressful situation and with how all of the people (even ones who were turned away after just having walked in) treated one another with love, kindness, and compassion. Not a single person responded rudely or unkindly. Everyone showed empathy. Kudos to those two teenagers. Experiences like this will serve to make you even stronger and ready to face adversity.”

“After stopping at the Flying Pig in Salem this place was a delight. Very welcoming everyone was friendly . It was Valentines day they had free food. Many different flavored shot to choose from. If I'm back in area I will stop in again. The two young bartenders were great.”

“We are from out of town and were in town for an event. I ordered a white cake with strawberry filling. It was amazing! so thick and the most gorgeous filling! Happened to be National Donut Day, took a blueberry donut with lemon cream cheese frosting back to my friend. She said it was the best donut she had ever had. The sheer variety you have is overwhelming! The best bakery I have ever been to!”

“Stopped in for a quick treat! The Brown Cow with Kast Iron root beer and dark chocolate ice cream was excellent! My son enjoyed picking from the over 500 different flavored sodas. Barista was super friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back to try more flavors”

“Marys Pizza is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, I have tried pizzas all over and I still go back to Marys Pizza. It’s the best! I live in Youngstown Ohio but grew up in Lisbon and I still cannot find a pizza in Youngstown area as good as Mary’s!”

“Went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the fire burger with chilli cheese fries. Fries and fire sauce were both great. My only complaint is all the burgers were served well done and the bun could have been a little softer. Everything tasted great though so it was not a big deal. I would come back if I was in the area.”

“My wife and were recently at a Baseball Tournament in Columbiana. Not knowing the area, we decided to stop at Sabi's after the game. We both ordered the 7&14 Chicken. It was absolutely delicious. I wish I had the recipe so I could make this dish at home in PA. The service was great as well. If we are ever in the area again, we will make it a point to stop in.”

“Just got done with a great breakfast at Maggie's Magic Muffins in Boardman, Ohio I got a Bacon, Egg and Swiss Cheese Croissant Sandwich. I got a nice big Blueberry Muffin. I also got a chocolate Hazrlnut Iced Coffee. (Sorry, I drank alot before I took the picture, which signifies it was very good.) Tasted great even without any sugar. Maggie's Magic Muffins Is a great place to go for a quick breakfast. The atmosphere is cozy. You walk in and there is a little living room like sitting area. There is a small dining area in the back left corner of the little shop. The staff is very nice there. My whole order was $14.95. A very small business that deserves alot more attention. The food is better than any fast food place. I highly recommend this place. If you come to Boardman early in the morning or anytime in the morning stop by Maggie's Magic Muffins. Hours: Tuesday- Friday: 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Closed: Sundays and Mondays. A great place to come for breakfast. A A++ establishment. “This is my second time here, and once again, Steamers Stonewall did not disappoint! I’m a truck driver out of South Bend, Indiana, and unfortunately, I got stuck here due to a breakdown. Sometimes things don’t go as planned out on the road, but finding a place like this makes a bad situation a whole lot better. A HUGE shoutout to Sara with an H! She provided excellent service, was friendly, welcoming, and made the experience that much better. The food was great, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax after a stressful day. As a truck driver, you appreciate places where people treat you right, and this place definitely does that. I’ve been here twice now, and both experiences have been great. “Was a little disappointed with you guys not having brisket, also as well as me & both my kids didn't like the cheesey potatoes. but overall I do recommend! If you like stuff pickled then these are the BEST pickled onions and pickles I've had so far. This half rack of ribs was MASSIVE! Pictures don't do it any justice! The smoked mushroom rice was delicious, all the meat was extremely tender & flavorful. Everything else was the 💣🤯”
