On 03/04/2025, my significant other, sister, daughter, son, and I visited this Applebee's location to grab a bite to eat after a long, emotional day at the hospital during a loved one's major surgery. Prices have definitely increased since our last visit to an Applebee's a few years ago; however, the food was generally enjoyable, except for my son's burger, which still contained ingredients he had specifically requested to be omitted.
Our server, Jaylynne, was pleasant when interacting with us while taking our orders, providing requested to-go containers, and collecting payments. However, she lacked attentiveness during our meal as she was preoccupied with chatting about personal topics, such as not vaccinating her child, with guests at the bar. This discussion seemed inappropriate for a restaurant environment.
Upon receiving my bill, I noticed it was higher than expected. After a closer examination, I found a $16.99 charge for an item that no one at our table had ordered. The waitress apologized for the error, removed the charge, and mentioned her confusion about the item's presence in the pickup area. Although she claimed it was an accident, one of my family members who has worked in the hospitality industry for several years expressed doubts about how such a mistake could easily occur. I typically make a point of tipping generously when dining out, but due to this experience, I chose not to tip our waitress. This is the first time I've made such a decision in over 15 years.

How Applebee's has fallen. From the nights of having to wait 2 hours for a table to not even being greeted 5 minutes after you walk in the door.
The staff here aren't bad people. They are just obviously underpaid, understimulated, uninterested and tired of no people.
The food is greasy and mushy at times. I enjoy the $9.99 meal deal. All you can eat fries with unlimited soft drinks and a bacon cheeseburger or chicken sandwich...
My burger was below average at best. Very messy and very greasy but the meat was cooked well. My wife got the chicken sandwich and oh my God it was so bland! No seasoning, no taste. Just lightly breaded chicken on bread.
I come here maybe once a year hoping things improved but they never do. In this economy, people aren't eating out as much sure, but maybe a big reason is because it's not the atmosphere it used to be

Called the Applebee's on Roschman Ave on New Years Eve at 8:58pm to ask what time they closed. The guy I spoke with said 11pm. So we ended up going to the one on Elida Rd instead as we were already over there and since the guy said they closed at 11pm we didn't want to rush to eat. I made a comment to the bartender that we wouldn't stay long since they closed at 11pm. She said no we close at 12am. I said we'll the Applebee's on Roschman Ave said you guys close at 11pm. She said no that they told me wrong. Guess the Roschman Ave Applebee's just didn't want customers coming in after 11. That's ok, we enjoyed our meal and got Great Service on Elida Rd.

Thanksgiving day stopped in and got robbed by Applebee's. They gave us a paper menu with very little on it. And prices was ridiculous classic hamburger was $15. Food was actually good but I won't be back do to price gouging.

The food was really disappointing it was very costly and not very tidy. We ate in Lima Ohio Southside Applebee's. Around 7:00- 7:30 pm . There was food on the floor that waitresses kept walking around. A costumer had mentioned it to a waitresses and she said yes that is a big chunk of meat. The blinds had food smeared on them . But thankful for the blinds because we sat by the window cars and trucks parking in the lot had their lights on and even their brights some times. I was not comfortable they're at all. For what we paid and got it was disappointing. Sorry Applebee's 😞
1 out of our 2 orders was inedible. The ranch chicken sandwich breading seemed to just be raw flour. Service was slow until we ordered a to-go entre for a third party which came out of the kitchen before the beer I ordered at the same time ( so cold food for them ). Staff were vacuuming and sweeping around our table while we ate so the room smelled of vacuum cleaner. I doubt I will ever eat at an Applebee's again after this experience.

We went there today and the drinks were terrible, I bought some drinks and when they delivered them to my table my drinks had bugs in them. I sent it back and they replaced it and told me that they opened a new bottles just to find more bugs in my drink. The food was ok but if you go to the bar make sure you look in your drinks otherwise you will get sick. I don't think I'll go back there
