Excellent old school style Chinese. Super tasty Chinese food at a reasonable price. Their tea is awesome. The whole feel reminds of some the Chinese restaurants I visited as a kid.

Ordered take out today and got more than expected! Teflon from their pans in our food and metal scrapping in the noodles! Thanks for that and a waste of money

Food seemed like classic Chinese, maybe a grade below. But we were denied some weird things like a Togo cup? Not sure why the review are so high but I'm getting the vibe that something changed

We sat down before lunch ended. By the time we were addressed it was shortly after four, so no lunch special. We got the hot tea because it's 7 degrees outside. The tea was pretty good. The service was odd, but attentive. We had a rotation of 5 different servers checking on the table. I'll take attentive over non-attentive any day. We got Crab Rangoon for an appetizer. It was fried well, but the ingredients lacked any real flavor besides sour. We ordered the General Tso's Chicken. The chicken was prepared very well, again the flavor was lacking. I had to doctor it up with duck and soy sauce, and black pepper. It made it palatable, but I'm perplexed by the 4.6 rating. I'm going to chock it up to it being a local staple. We asked for a cup for tea to go, and we were told no. I'm not sure if they're pouring unused, served, tea back into a communal pot, but for health board sakes, I hope not.
If they could give good flavor to their near perfectly fried foods, they'd be a real contender for a good Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, this one fell flat.

Great food and friendly service. We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The tea on a cold winter day is wonderful. The food has always been delicious.

Drove up from Russells Point to go to Sam's. Googled restaurants in the area and came across Hunan Garden. We were not disappointed. Service and food were great. $8 for the lunch special with soup is a steal. They were busy, which is always a good sign. We will definitely come back.

Excellent food and taste delicious. My wife and I drove from Kenton to get our family food for my dad’s birthday.
Definitely check your order. We ordered 5 lunch specials. They forgot our beef and broccoli today. We are missing one lunch special.
This is inconvenient when living 45 minutes away.

I'm not one to down a place, but after multiple opportunities to give a GREAT review, I still can't. Sorry. My General Tsoas chicken was so hard when I tried to cut it with my fork, I wore it. Then, when I went to wet my shirt and clean the best I could, the bathroom had no paper towels. The egg drop soup had a funny smell and taste and when I told the waitress she could take it because neither of my 2 people party liked the taste, she did. However, it was still on the bill. That's fine. Never again. After 3 times eating here (take out and dining) I'm done.
