Jalapenos Mexican Grill - Lima

Ate lunch here today. The food was ok. The work area was filthy. The whole back food prep and serving area had dirt and food scraps on everything. The hygiene of a couple of the workers was less than desirable. Probably will never be back. Filthy place

Great food! Big portions! Food always looks and tastes fresh. This is my go to restaurant of this type.
I'm going to Jalapenos before Chipotle any day

I’ve eaten here only a handful of times but 3 out of 5 times I’ve gotten mild or full blown food poisoning. My father has also been a long time fan but as of lately each time he’s went, the meat wasn’t warm enough and resulted in severe stomach distress and mild food poisoning. He’s currently on day 5 of being sick as a dog. I will never eat here again unfortunately.

Best build a burrito place around cheaper too somehow but the rice has never been crunchy and the meats are always on point. Somtimes they have trouble keeping the burritos together but that's mostly my fault

Not very personable but great burrito

Went in last night for 2 bowls/ chips & cheese- While in line to pay for them, a worker yelled to the back "Can we heat another can of chicken?!" TWICE. Knowing they have canned chicken and not fresh like chipotle is a huge deal breaker for me. After getting home to eat, my bowl was so salty it was inedible (I think it was the brown rice). Needless to say I'm disappointed and 100% a chipotle girl now.

Low budget experience, and you get what you pay for. The woman taking my order ran her words together, making it hard to understand. The food was what you might make at home, but still good. They were kind enough to let me in a the register when I just wanted to get a drink.
