Have always liked Joey's. For a sub you can definitely make at home it's a good sub. Have gotten a bit expensive but still good.. 995 for a standard sub.

I wanted to try eating here because I DoorDash so many times and everything looks great, except last time I DoorDashed there the owner was very disrespectful, in this economy the only way people understand is through your money so I won’t be coming, my family won’t be coming, and any of my friends won’t be coming either. Local businesses want us to support them over corporations but when you do they treat you like crap.

So disappointed!!! Joey’s always stood for the freshest, finest ingredients. He was SUPER picky about his buns. He was known to make the bakery redo them if they weren’t up to his standards!!!
Today I ordered the Torpedo Sub, asI often do. I was crushed when I opened the foil; the bun was thin & very soggy….
The taste was totally disappointing. Joey would be furious!!!
Sad to see a business go downhill …

A must stop down town Lima! Hot dogs are fabulous. Subs Yummy! They have deli meats and salads of all kinds. Staff is super friendly! Seating outside or in car. It's small but they pack a big punch! Just stop and try it!!! ❤️ 😍 💖
Let me tell you something about this place. I walked in here and realized something. The connection the workers have with each other is something unique. It's something different. I have never seen any place like this and really felt love. I've been in here before and met an older lady she was very kind and grounded. But each person in there knows how to really work with each other. That's something you don't see often. Each person compliments another, and in turn, those tiny details create the bigger picture of what's happening. There's a beauty in working together. They got it down. And that's something you dont see everywhere. Amazing food, great people. It's a family for sure.

We fed our High School staff for Teacher Appreciation Week last week. The subs were incredible and were put together so nicely for us and labeled wonderful. The staff was so helpful and great to work with. I can't wait to utilize this amazing local gem again soon! You guys are the BEST!
