I visited kewpees for the first time this week. I got a burger fries and chili for food. This was one of the best diner burgers I have had. Cooked perfect and tasted amazing. The food came out quicker than any fast food ive had and tasted fresher than all of them. The chili was so good and perfect for a cold winter day. For the drive home I got a small malt and a pie for later. Both were excellent. The interior brings you back to the 60s and the prices do to. This place is 100% worth the stop.

I stop here anytime I’m passing thru or working in Lima. Amazing burgers, retro feel to the place. Love the old school vibes. Amazing chili and great custard.

I was working north of Lima for a week installing chipped epoxy floors for ODOT & always look for food places that are not in my area to try out, so I ended up here at this vintage (20's or 30's era ?) diner that is a step back in the past but I am glad that I did bc they had the best bowl of chili I've ever eaten that wasn't made at home & that's no exaggeration. I also got a rather amazing tasting cheeseburger and they have all kinds of options for toppings so I added a few then later on regretted that I didn't get 2 when I was there! It was awesome, great tasting, quickly prepared and very reasonably priced with a friendly staff and good atmosphere. I tried to go to a different location of bears days earlier but by the time I got there a little after 11:00 a.m. the line for the drive-thru was wrapped all the way around the building and inside there was a line almost out to the door, so I had to go somewhere else but theres a reason why they were so busy so early in the day, it's because they are really that good. I definitely recommend making a stop here & don't think you will regret it or be disappointed.

We went about 5:30 pm for burgers, fries, and a drink to eat inside. Plenty of seats in a close quarters building with a classic diner vibe. Gave our orders at the counter, then a 15 minutes or so wait as the cooks and counter persons alternated service between those inside and the long line of cars waiting at the drive up window. They also have fish or chicken sandwiches, and fresh choices of various pies for dessert.
