I'm visiting family from Georgia and this was one of my must go to restaurants. Was always a favorite of mine when I lived in the area years ago. The atmosphere is fun a colorful. The staff is friendly as always. The food came out hot, fast, and was amazing like always. It's nice to see they added a lot of new menu items since Ive been here years ago. I'm just grateful they're still wonderful even after all these years. So many places took big hits from covid and aren't good anymore but it seems this is a place I can rely on. Thank you for that. Will be back next time I visit home.

First time eating here since moving to Lima and everything about this place is fantastic. Fantastic server, quick service, got the food quickly and it was incredible. I love Mexican food and usually not a fan of guacamole but theirs is the best for sure. I give this place a 10/10. Will be going back for sure.

While visiting from Arizona, I had a craving for their steak fajitas, as the ones I have eaten so far in Arizona were not tender nor very flavorful. La Charreada has the best steak fajitas that I have ever eaten and they make good margaritas. Our waiter was quite slow, though. They werenāt real busy at that time either. Food came quickly.

Right from the start, I was seated by an older gentleman who didnāt ask if I preferred a booth or a table. When he led me to a table, I mentioned Iād prefer a booth, but he completely ignored me and walked away. I ordered the BBQ pork tacos, and when they arrived, the pork was so tough that I actually got a toothache from eating it. To be honest, I didnāt even finish them. When I pointed out how hard the pork was, my server gave me a dismissive look and said, āWell, you ate at least three bites, so thereās nothing I can do.ā so over all I had a terrible experience.

Used to be go to every Saturday. One across town is better with more consistent food quality. The service was absolutely the worst during this visit. Usually supper fast. This time was super slow and even waited on people before us that were seated 10 minutes after us. Did not get order right did not say anything because was still good and didn't want to wait any longer. Hope they get it back together because they were not busy at 5 On a Saturday. Food either be perfect or burnt. Chips either fresh or stale. Salsa either bland or spicy. Just as examples no consistency.
