First time having dinner at Old City Prime and it was wonderful. We had the New York bone-in strip steak au poivre with the loaded baked potato and it was delicious! We saved enough room to share a slice of the chocolate cake, and it was a winner too. Great atmosphere, excellent service, highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I went out for a dinner date night, and it was spectacular. The atmosphere was amazingly fun, and festive. The staff were helpful and prompt. My favorite part was the Lemon Drop Martini! Soooo delicious. Will definitely go back for more.

We make the trip from Columbus because it’s always a great experience however this time we felt rushed and our service fell way below OCP standard. 7:00 reservation to give us time to eat before the show. We were seated at 7:40 and it just felt like everything was thrown at us at once, except the bread which we asked for 3x but never got. Someone else was trying to package up the meals we were still eating. It just seemed like we were a burden. I let them know it was my partner’s birthday but that wasn’t recognized however the table next to ours was with a serenade, sparklers and a cupcake, again, just felt let down. Maybe it was unrealistic expectations on my part. -UPDATE- 4/01/2025 Old City Prime made it right! Of course we’ll be back and perhaps this time we won’t make reservations on the busiest night of the week expecting to be treated like we’re the only ones there. We’re already looking forward to our experience.
We dine @ OCP every year for our anniversary. The experience is always great! And, Every time it gets better! The food is top notch! We began with our cocktails which were perfect. We enjoyed our stuffed with Crab mushrooms as our appetizer. My husband loved the seafood chowder as I had the Ceasar Salad impressively made tableside. This is the first time we had the prime rib and we were not disappointed. Both entrees were cooked perfectly as ordered. I had the twice baked potato which was too much to finish. No dessert for us as we were stuffed! I am amazed at the service. From the host who greeted us, to the bussers, & bartenders as it blows me away with the professional, perfect service they provide. I feel that it is personal. Like we are the only patrons there. The evening wasn't over as we were entertained by Exploit Deluxe. Such a talented band! The Lima area is extremely fortunate to have this dining experience.

This was my first visit to this location. The food was amazing. So good. The server seemed rushed and interrupted conversation several times, which is rude. Actually, the manager on duty did the same. The one highlight of staff were the ones doing the cleaning and refilling water. They were very professional and courteous. Although I had this experience, i would return. Hopefully, they will improve. Recommended.
