Sara from Sara’s Sweets is amazing, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about her and her desserts. She made our wedding cake, cupcakes, and cookies, and everything was absolutely delicious. From the very beginning, she was so kind, patient, and responsive — no question was too small or silly, and she always answered clearly and thoughtfully. That really made me feel cared for and confident that everything would turn out beautifully.
When we came in for our tasting and to decide on our desserts, Sara was calm, dependable, and so easy to talk to. There was a little mix-up with scheduling, but she made it work without any stress, and I really appreciated how flexible and understanding she was. She also explained every detail about our ideas and options in a way that was clear and helpful, so I always felt like I knew exactly what to expect.
On our celebration day, the desserts were a hit! The cake, cupcakes, and cookies exceeded my expectations — guests kept saying they were some of the best wedding desserts they’d ever had. The black bottom cheesecake cupcake was my absolute favorite; I still don’t know how they get that filling so perfect, but it was incredible. The only small thing was that the raspberry chocolate cupcake came with a little raspberry candy on top that most people didn’t love, but the cupcake itself and the other desserts were delicious enough that it didn’t matter at all.
Everything was ready and perfect when we picked it up the day before the celebration, which made things so much easier for us. Sara and her team were such nice people to be around at their shop — calm, friendly, and professional — and it made the whole process feel easy and joyful. I would absolutely recommend Sara’s Sweets to anyone looking for a bakery that is talented, easy to work with, and genuinely cares about making your desserts perfect. The desserts were not only beautiful and delicious, but Sara herself made the whole experience feel personal and special.
Everything we’ve EVER gotten here has been FABULOUS! The trail mix cookies are staple in our house and today we have the pumpkin bars a try and omg they’re soooo good! Prob go back this week and get more! The staff is also friendly and helpful, easy check out process and a cool rewards program! Thank you for offering such a great place here in Lima!!!!!!

Ordered a Buckeye cake for my son's birthday - the chocolate cake was excellent, very moist and with chocolate chips! The peanut butter icing was also excellent, butter cream that had just enough peanut butter flavor without being too heavy. The buckeye candies on the outside were also great! Highly recommend!
