Ordered a skyway and received no extra cheese. If anything less than normal. The Lima location has been sub par compared to other Skyline Chilis. Maybe just due to location but the food always seems dry and less chili used than other restaurants I’ve been to.

The closest skyline I have to home. What can I say that's my favorite restaurant on planet Earth. A must-have every time I'm near one. Can't go wrong with good chili a lot of finely shredded mild cheddar cheese. 🤤

It has been years since I have had Skyline Chili. I talked it up often to a friend of mine who had never been, and she loved it. The food was incredible. The girl who took our order, Montana, went back to make our order herself to ensure we had a memorable order with heaps of chili and cheese. I never once had to ask for a refill on our drink, Montana just had the instincts to know when our cup was less than full, to bring another one as the last sips of the current drink were left. Montana worked hard to personally ensure that my friend's first experience (and my returning experience) were perfect, and she succeeded and then some. Its been a few days, but my friend is asking me when we can go back to the Skyline in Lima. We are from Michigan. 😵

Definitely a tradition everytime we go to lima everyone loves it the food is always fresh and if anything is wrong they fix it immediately.

Quick servers and service! Good drive-thru and friendly people. I don’t know of I was just unlucky, but everything tasted a bit weird. It tasted like a knock-off. The crackers and bun were both stale, and the chili was good but didn’t taste normal. It was a bit odd. It tasted very similar to my mom’s homemade cheese coneys, which aren’t BAD, but they don’t taste right. I don’t know how to feel about this location, haha.

As always, the food was great! The server did a great job. Here's the downfall we noticed it was cold when we walked in so we took the center of the room instead of by the window. When we went to sit down an older couple by the window said making a smart choice. We were so cold we could not take our jackets off. And I was literally shaking.

I ordered a Mac ’n Cheese 3-Way, and what I received was nothing like the item shown in Skyline’s photos or in customer pictures online. Instead, I was served a sloppy bowl of soup. It was completely inedible, and I did not eat it.
When I brought this to the staff’s attention, Kala immediately became argumentative and dismissive. Rather than correcting the issue or remaking the item, she blamed me, insisted the watery liquid was “supposed to be there,” and refused to acknowledge that the order was prepared incorrectly. She then laughed at me and still charged me full price for something I did not receive.
For the record: Restaurants are required under consumer protection standards to provide the item that was ordered, prepared in a reasonably expected manner. If a food item is incorrect, improperly made, or not edible, the business is expected to either replace it or refund it. Refusing to correct the mistake and still charging the customer violates basic consumer fairness expectations and can be disputed with your bank as an unauthorized or fraudulent charge.
The coney dogs I did eat were also extremely poor quality — easily the worst Skyline coneys I’ve ever had. Other recent low-review photos reflect the same issues.
Skyline Corporate needs to step in and ensure this location is properly managed and consistently upholds Skyline’s brand standards. I paid $10.39 for an item I never received, and Kala knowingly refused to correct the bill. This will be contested with my card issuer and reported as an intentional improper charge
