I was down town Lima for jury duty and thought i would try this new (new to me) restaurant for lunch. I ordered the Salmon meal and it was great. It was so good i came back the next day with 8 other jurors after bragging about the meal and ordered it again. I thought the Salmon tasted as good or better then Red Lobster but cheaper! Also the meal included corn bread. I usally dont like corn bread. Its dry and grainy. Not this corn bread! Moist and slightly sweet. I could learn to like corn bread but only here. The cook (and maybe owner?) came out to personally check with everyone on how they liked their food and tell us about the ingredients and how it was cooked. Our waiter was great also. He was racing around getting us drinks and food. He was non stop go go go. I cant wait to go back and try some other different menu choices. What a treat this was.

You have to check this great diner out!!! They have a wide selection of down home dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Welcoming atmosphere and fast, friendly service. They prepare omelets just like we used to get in NJ diners. I love that they offer tots as a breakfast side. We ordered the ham & cheese omelet and the country omelet. They had no issues with me asking to not add the mushrooms. They have good coffee. It made me so happy to see they had hot sauce on the tables. Will definitely be going back soon to try out the lunch and dinner menu options. We didn't take photos of our meals. They looked and smelled so good, we dug right in. The cook even came out to make sure we were happy with the food.

We need to remember more often to come downtown to eat here! We found out from the server that there is parking out back, and the food was excellent!! Would definitely recommend!

Service was excellent but the food was just ok! I will try again to find out about other dishes. I tried the chicken and waffles and my wife had the breakfast burrito of which she gave me plenty to sample. A friend of mine recommended the place to me and he is a big fan so I have a few more things to try before ruling it out. Paying a meter downtown is a possibility too for parking is a bummer ☹️
