The "king crab" is actually IMITATION CRAB!! The real problem with that, is that fact that imitation crab has GLUTEN in it and can send someone with celiac disease to the emergency room! We ordered 3 sushi rolls. They put 2 of the rolls in the same container-why would they do that!? Someone could have allergies to something in the other ordered roll! When I called to explain this and suggest they should not do that, the girl said "that's just how they do it". I asked for extra wasabi for each sushi roll and we got less than half of a pinky size thumbnail of wasabi-for 3 rolls. The one roll that had ginger in the container was unedible-it was obviously very old. One bite was all I ate of that. Just in case you think Yomato West is the same as the Yamato East-it is NOT. Yamato East has never screwed up our order and is much better quality food! We will just stick with Yamato EAST!

The hibachi is absolutely delicious, the chefs are amazing cooks with great attitudes that truly make the experience. The atmosphere is very welcoming and fun, and the portion sizes are great. If you are of age, try the warm sake, it's great.

This has always been our go to place for birthday meals for all 5 of us in the family. Today my son chose to pick up food instead of eating there and that was a mistake. $100+ later and they forgot my food 2 of our soup and salads. I called and they were pretty rude. Implying I was lying when it’s much more of a hassle to go all the way back to pick up the food they forgot in the first place. Everybody got to eat with my son on his birthday while I had to run back and forth picking up food that was forgotten. Never again.

I will start by saying we did show up 50 minutes before they closed, with a party of 9. We made sure to ask if it was ok. They told us it was absolutely no problem.. we just needed to order before 9.
I started by asking what was in the fruit mojito. The server did not know. (Or care to go find out, I guess) I ordered it anyway.. explaining that I do not like berries. As long as it didn't have berries we were fine. He brought back a blue cocktail. Which was made with some sort of blueberry liquor. I have that to my sister. And tried again. I asked what was in the Naughty Lemonade. The server did not know. I asked if it was just a vodka lemonade. He said yes. I asked for any vodka top shelf vodka. Again, it came back blue. So... not vodka lemonade. No top shelf vodka. And damned berries again.
Now move on to dinner. I am a vegetarian so I only had a few options. I opted for the poke bowl without meat. I asked what the sauce was on the poke bowl. Believe it or not, the server did not know. Or go and ask. So.. I ended up paying $15 for a bowl of rice with some cucumbers, avacado and mango with soy sauce. Pretty disappointing.
Then to top it all off...I was finishing my food and my berry drink, at 9:36 (they closed at 9:30) and they came over and started pulling chairs from our table, and rushing us out the door. Again, we made sure it was ok to come in when we did. So, I really did not appreciate feeling rushed to eat my rice and berry drink 6 minutes after closing. We were not lingering. We were being respectful. I was almost done with my food.
Just not a great experience all in all.
