Rock house Restaurant was the worst food and service we have ever experienced.

We stayed here as it had pretty good reviews. It was NOT clean. There were COCKROACHES crawling out of the drain in our bathroom floor. It was absolutely disgusting.

Hocking Hills Dining Lodge offers a relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff. Visitors can enjoy a delicious Borscht soup, pesto bread, Three Sisters meal, and hot, tasty fries. The view is enjoyable from any table, and meals can be modified upon request. The lodge is well kept with a beautiful facility in a great location near many activities and trails. Staff members are welcoming, creating a pleasant experience, though the food selection is limited, and some guests have noted long wait times for meals. Breakfast options, including coffee and breakfast sandwiches, are available at the snack shop, but breakfast at the lodge may be considered mediocre. Reservations are required for dinner, and some visitors recommend trying coffee and breakfast at Hocking Hills Inn Emporium instead. The area offers events like karaoke, smores night, and scavenger hunts, adding to the overall experience. Guests appreciate exploring the nearby state park and trails, and the indoor pool and well-maintained facilities contribute to a comfortable stay. Despite some issues, many find the lodge a worthwhile visit, especially for its location and nearby activities.
